You're welcome. I am really happy to see people who are enthusiastic like you. Wish you success. Rica ederim. Senin gibi hevesli insanları gördüğüme gerçekten çok sevindim. Başarılar.
Excelent lesson! I know teachers should grade the students, but in this case I am grading this teacher and I give him 100% on EVERYTHING! I urge you do the same. We need him to motivate him making tutorials of this quality.
Merhabalar. Thank you for your kind words. I am really happy to hear that my lessons are helping. And these kind of nice comments always motivates me a lot. Wish you best, başarılar 👍
Hi, I am learning the playlist “all grammar lessons”, what would be your recommendations on the vocabulary lessons? Shall I start it after the grammar lesson? Or learn both in parallel? Thank you.
Derslerin seviyorum. Teşekkür ederim. Does the indefinite past tense exist in Turkish? For example, definite past tense: I went to Türkiye (meaning I went to Türkiye once),and indefinite past tense: I used to go to Türkiye (meaning I went to Türkiye frequently, but I don’t know how many times or the frequency isn’t important).
So 'ben öğrenci miydim' , but 'ben yazdım mı' . Is the difference in question structure because the 1st form is for nouns and adjectives, but the 2nd is for verbs? Thanks.
@@romeofoxtrotrf continuous tense = ben yaz+ıyor mu+(y) um Future tense = ben yaz+acak mı+(y)ım Simple present = ben yaz+ar mı+(y) ım Past tense = ben yaz+dı+m mı So all the tenses are following a certain rule but past tense is the rule breaker.
Exactly. Kesinlikle. One other example is "yüz" which means "face" and "hundred". There are a lot of words like these in Turkish which are called "sesteş kelimeler".
Selamün Aleyküm Hocam. Is Reported Past Tense be like " Sen yazmıştın" ? Ben bunu duydum ama görmedim. Doğru mu? Biraz daha fazla açıklayabilir misiniz?

Merhaba. It's better to start with playlist Grammar A1 then continue with vocabulary lessons then Grammar for A2 and B1. Good luck, başarılar 👍

He was old = O yaşlıydı/ yaşlıdı
Sir Which one is correct & why
Yaşlıydı. If the noun is ending with a vowel we use buffer letter "y" before the past tense suffix "dı".

Exactly, grammar formation is slightly different between nouns and verbs.

Merhaba. If i want to say "They didn't laugh" it would be onlar gülmediler or onlar gülmedüler?
"Onlar gülmediler"
Thank you for answering. So, in Turkish, vowel harmony is determined by the vowel right before it right?
