@@croftonjohn4466 yea I get it. I choose Elvis BUT, can’t hate. Elvis at 18 took on the world and the pressure of white society calling him a ni@@er, getting real respect from black icons which can only happen if you are authentic. Stood up far racial equality when it was unheard of. He “loved” all.
Ali, same thing. He took on the world, became a Muslim, and didn’t go to war. I didn’t agree with how he handled things, being radicalized by Elija Muhammad. But as I got older, I asked myself how would have I reacted to institutional lawful racism supported by law. (Goes against constitution. And a black man worth 1/3 of a man when constitution was ratified, is not understanding that blacks were property, for the south to concede they were 1/3 of a man was an incredible accomplishment by the founding fathers) But Ali did align himself with a racist org that did not want racial equality but to overturn the system, called whites the devil, and killed Malcom X after his trip to Mecca and changed to a unity message.
Ali of course matured and changed as we all did.
But today? There can arguably be differences in boxing opinion on who is the “greatest”.
Elvis is untouchable. Before Elvis there was nothing like him. After too. Elvis is Elvis. There is no one to compare him too. No one. He is an icon to himself. I’m glad the movie came out. You see so many reactions to Elvis today. Not one has put Elvis down After a few reactions. I know I know, this is long, but Elvis is only 2nd to God and Jesus. I’m 60, always loved Elvis, but now with TH-cam , seeing so much content, Elvis baby.

I guess it depends whether you're asking a male or female ?
All the women would vote for Elvis but I'm not certain all the men would vote for Ali. Elvis would win, he was the best.🎉

I may be wrong, but in my opinion he was a pos at the end, all 3. The book he helped write along with Red and Hebler with Dunleavy killed Elvis. Elvis had the manuscript beforehand, imagine him reading that. The 3 pos said they wrote it as an intervention??? BS, it was for revenge and to make money. There was no reason to reveal personal “secrets”. I can imagine that Elvis abusing prescription drugs changed him in many negative ways as it would anyone. His father fired them. Maybe because they were enablers. No matter what, they could have made money on an Elvis book with the perception of love and gratitude. Elvis was human, had an ego for sure, but imagine being paid, to hang with Elvis…. If they were so concerned, hell, they could have worked for practically free just to be with Elvis and try to help. Vernon fired those 3 for a reason that was not about money, and more about being a major bad enabler. His father was trying to help his son. These 3 pos ……

Maybe if we don't take sensibility for weakness, consider it granted to mockery and take advantage from the sensitive ones, when people will understand that just because they can hurt someone with no consequences, ignoring their own conscience, maybe in that day will be appreciated any ghift which God sends us.
Remember that even Jesus has friends, Juda was one of them 😒 they also have spent good times and enjoyed each other... But when the storm strike each man acts according to his one nature...
Elvis was a sensitive kind, this man related events from the suny days, when they laughed and plays carefree... He relies on the emotional side of the audience for he didn't want people to wonder "what if...". his voice is a bit choked, his hands moves quickly, he is not comfortable with the situation 🙂
Btw, did you read that book they two (Sony and Red) wrote? It's about private life of Elvis?? You believe it's a true story 🙂

I've love Elvis from the beginning of his career and still do at 75. In fact I love him more as the man we didn't get to know until after he died. We knew some of his generosity that was publicized because that's what the powers that be wanted. We didn't know the extent of it until he passed. He did his giving quietly because he Didn't want publicity. He helped so many that were strangers, that he read about or saw on the street or even heard about needing help. How many people knew that every year he gave checks to 50 charities at Christmas? Or how many charity benefits he did for black and white groups to raise money or visited children in hospitals, or inmates in jail? He got or gave jobs to people, and took care of his whole extended family. He bought houses ,cars, jewelry. People that knew him as a child, when he was dirt poor,he would give whatever he had to other children. It just hurts your heart to hear all the bashing the media and mean people say and have said about him. He had a Bible in just about every room in his home and Always carried one one the road and Read it! There's lots more but I'll stop now. Sonny and Red really loved Elvis but were so foolish when they wrote the book. It hurt Elvis deeply and they later regretted it.

There are many programs like the JeffMara Podcast and Next Level Soul that have guests who share their memories of Heaven.
The Bible was written by men who wanted to give a certain expression. There were many other stories but they weren't kept. They had a council of men who decided what went in the Bible and what stayed out.
They didn't tell everyone that reincarnation is true yet the other side of the planet has known about it for 5000 years.
There's a video called Everything You Know is a Lie by Lloyd Pye.

Sonny died in 2017, sad. There is a love for Elvis obviously, but you can also see that they all had Peter Pan complex and just wanted to be boys. You know they say that when child actors become famous is basically the age they stay. They don't mature. I don't know how anyone could deal with all the adulation that Elvis had, even now, just looking at him, you just see beauty and his essence. Elvis died so young!
