Sounds like a guy falling down a ladder with his head hitting every bar
lucielthetrashcan haha love that...
lucielthetrashcan hahaha made my day
That's a big ladder
It's not big it's just long
lucielthetrashcan
Agreed heard it then read this it's fucking hilarious
I feel bad for the yellow note
Same
Blink lol
Blink most of the time while drumming you're beating the crap out of everything, I tend to play a lot on the hi-hat but other people like to play on the floor tom or maybe the snare. It just depends on the person. But yes in this the yellow note got killed.
This isn't even blink...
+Kangarboy 14 one like equals justice for the yellow note
idk why but as a drummer, this is satisfying to watch
I know right it feels good watching other people play the drums
seriously though, this is badass
Aliyah English I wonna see him on a real kit 😁
Aliyah English as a bass player i have no fucking idea why he is hitting the strings with those sticks.
Aliyah English as a an air player i have no idea why he is taking in air with those long tree things. use ur mouth its better for playing
lol a tiny ''yeah'' when finishing something like that. I would be screaming while fist pumping.
brichard harris lol' then dont play any metal song ! They are like 100 time harder than this
This is Easy
im enjoying this even tho i dont have the game
You don't have to have the game to enjoy someone else playing the game that you don't have
unlike guitar hero I can see how this would help someone learn to drum
Besides the lack of cymbals, yeah I guess it could help with rhythm.
guitar hero has 5 pads... that's how I started. it's better than rock band to learn the drums imo.
Paul's Mess Hall In the new rock Band 3 and 4, you can get pro drums for using cymbals, although they are a bit expensive.
your supposed to cross your hands when you play drums, it would help if there was a type of high hat in there as eell
+Rory Horgan *well
Are you rushing or are you dragging!?
chair throwing intensifies
I've seen that movie
+nilliter9778 Good...
NOT MY FUCKING TEMPO xD
rushing
I can't stop looking at his wiggling pinky during the rolls
Cameron Peterson my instructor would always yell "PINKIES!!" when I did that one my rolls hahahah
That’s how you’re supposed to play. If you play closed handed you’re using all arm strength Which kills you
@@dylanolger5979 Lol you're not SUPPOSED to play like that. You can do what's comfortable, but most drummers and teachers will tell you to keep your pinky in.
Sounds even better then the drums in the real song
No shit
Ricardo Hernández your stupid he finished it
I know you are a first grader god
why you even talking OMG
Ant hony Why you talking??
The sounds from the drums are so satisfying.
the column of yellow notes.
O YA
dang. The best part about being the drummer in rock band is doing the freestyle drumming. god times.
I find this video sooo satisfying
i use my vibrating neck massager for the yellow not streaks
+Recycle Bin shut up if he wants to do it let him....you have no right to judge him
well you have no right bish......if he wants to let him.... :I
XD
+PurpCanadian Gaming "neck massager"
+PurpCanadian Gaming I'm in class and read this comment and giggled way too loud.
Woah, this gives me memories. I would die for a rockband kit again, it was a great way to build your chops and it was fun! :)
Well I must admit. I have been playing the drums for 20 years and I suck at rock band. It is not the same at all. Regular drums I could kill that song with a blind fold on. Rock band drums equals rage quit. LOL...
Yea rock band makes it way harder
+Ringroop 1 it's not harder it's just a totally different focus of the music, without technique, emotion, or feel lol
+dragon61rider Actually, why RB makes it harder is because of audio lag and because most songs aren't accurate enough with the patterns and on point notes, especially not on the easier modes like easy or normal.
What RB mostly focuses on is on point speed and the bass drum maybe.
***** I don't own RB or GH and I also just realized that I was really talking about GH and not RB, so I didn't know RB had configurations for the issues I stated.
*****
Ok, I don't know for sure if GH has it either, but I got no memories of GH having that so I'm just assuming it's only possible to configure in the newer games like RB. Yeah you're right, then it's probably their fault ^^
U basically need pads with good rebound and or quick wrist speed. It's like playing a snare and quads
+MrApexUnicornHunter It's exactly like snare lol
+iSongzHD more like quads cause he got 4 drums
MrApexUnicornHunter I guess lol
exacly
Wrist speed is for noobs. All about the finger control you plebeian.
who's watching in 1985
lol
me
The sound of the rockband kit makes the song sound better
Ikr
I watched this in 2016 and fell in love with the drums, thank you so much
1:04 in looks tough as shit good job dude
Tony Surove that’s the easy part
Tony Surove teach me how to do that shit
Flowa Powa no. The part that looks hard is just 32 notes. You can double stroke roll that shit with ease
That was some really beastly stuff there, Lee. Nice job! :D
When you finally get a good score on rockband and then watch this video.
Oh shit, take me back to 2007 why dont cha!
2009... but still haha
i don't care what anyone thinks, if you get 100% at something you try to accomplish, you have a very good feeling and sense of what you can do in life. it branches to other things in life and stems from your internal capabilities and your focus of will.
good job man
"Justin would you get the fuck off that game and clean your room!"
I guess most find this difficult but as a drummer thats kind of a normal song to play, nothing very difficult about it.
Max Sage But he has to play it perfectly.
Max Sage Yeah,I didn't find anything hard.
how long have you been playing the drums? I quit wen I was young.🐺
Neo Blackwolf Since I was a kid.
No fucking shit a drummer has a easier time with the song than someone who has never played a real drum...
Holy shit what a fucking stupid comment LOL
this guy is hands down - expert drummer
IGGSGA haha! I see what you did there!
1,666,307 sounds fishy to me......
666
I just want to say. This is 'hands down' the best rock band drums performance I have seen...
get it... 'hands down'... 🙂
Every once in a while I check out one of your old videos, Lee. I always end up wishing that I could get my hands to move that quickly and with that kind of fluidity.
Are those double strokes or just straight sixteenths???
Those are single strokes, not double strokes.
So yeah, straight 16ths.
Damn
Jimmy Licata Doubles don't sound like that.
my hands are in pain just thinking about that
That was the chilliest thing at the end. Just shoved his drumsticks back into his pocket
+Angus Hsieh that`s not the back pocket LOL
+Ian ColtsAllDay Lind- Luck- Manning He said "back into his pocket", not "into his back pocket"...
skills for days
if your a drummer then this song should be easy af for you
I see A lemon true, but Tenors could help with that tbh lpl
Devon Gonzalez yep
**You're*
OOOOOOOOOOOH YOU GOT ME SO GOOD BRO
Yeah i think i could get aleast a 92 if i play this on rock band
It looks kinda easy for the most part
Dude those rolls at the end tho. Crazy
Real drumming is much more fun. He probably does that too.
Thats why I said it dipshit *****
Which law says that you are the authority to notify me about that *****
+Scoblin Dingus wtf
Do you even know what is meant with substantiated? *****
By the way, let's cut the shit man. This get's boring.
he totally is that kick pedal doesnt look like rock band standard xD
Some people say that it took TheDrumer27 ten times to record this video because he kept breaking his drum set
Mostly the yellow part
Dra9onMaster 16 who is TheDrumer27
Donny Allez sigh
The grip makes me want to die impressive that you are not doing double strokes but the GRIP AHHHH
143,875 -- 129,275 = 12,600.
126 notes hit in 4X.
1,455 + 126 = 1,581.
I still need to keep calculating.
this is almost 8 years old, why youtube recomend me this?
why youtube, why....
Maybe it's because i've been playing drums for 14 years, but this doesn't look remotely hard.
It really isn't difficult at all. I've been playing for 7 years
it might have something to do with the fact you have years of experience rofl...
The Code Monkey as someone who's been a mathematician for 15 years, algebra doesn't look remotely hard.
The Code Monkey well it is a video game
agreed. it looked like something i learned when i was 10
woody woodpecker is that you
You're the only person I've ever seen actually improvising during the star power activation sections.
I remember watching this exact video when I was 4. I've been looking for so long.
I play drums but I don't know why it looks harder on Rock Band... But God that looked smooth as fuck...
I play drums as well , and honestly it just depends on how good you are with rhythm bro
guess the only hard thing is the bass
I would get carpal tunnel from doing that many sixteenths
*helicopter coming!!!!*
I watch this video over and over again, brings back memeories when I played rock band back in 2009 lol.
That's amazing....many props to you, man!
Hatter's gonna say it's fake.
MAD HATTER
mad haters fam
Just hearing this song makes me want to cut my throat.
It's not worth it man, don't do it
Whoever is gonna say this is fake is retarded. As an actual drummer this isn't even that hard to do if you're already a drummer.
Anyone watching in 2017
Gaming With Pedro yes
What's the song called
Pipelinezmaniac
What the hell is your issue?
Bobthaboy my parents never gave me a dollar
Night Demon seriously if anyone knows the song name that would be helpful
ZLJJCloud This song is called Hands down by dashboard confessional
Don't say that young foolish kid...becoming an expert at something is one of the best achievements one could ever wish to achieve in an whole life !
Nicely done IBitePrettyHardSH !
Hearing all of the noises in perfection is so satisfying.
I broke mine by jumping on it.
You need to work on your drum fills dude.
Whag does fc stand for?
andrej gajic basically he didn't miss a note
jdawgjosh soo full clear maybe?
full combo
it stands for full chart. hitting every note on the chart.
Thought it meant "full count"
That is very impressive playing. I don't know if it is good for really playing the drums in the real world but still amazing thing to watch Good Job!
It's a stick pattern. RRLL is to hit the drum twice with either stick, right, right, left, left. RLRL is hitting with right, left, right, left. :)
this is why I quit the drums.🐺
Neo Blackwolf lol
Neo Blackjack the enraged
Your hands get hella tired and your legs. But I've played for 6 years, you get used to it.
That game is a pisspoor excuse for drums. I too have faced uh Frustrations, problems but I never gave up
As a percussionist i cringe at this, as he keeps lifting his pinky finger. You want to keep all fingers locked onto the stick.
Cameron Morris Entirely different story when playing drum set. If he were playing a marching snare, he'd need his pinkies locked on the stick. However, this being a drum set, drummers don't usually keep their pinkies on so they can easily maneuver through different toms and cymbals. Easy mistake, though.
Cameron Morris in jazz you actualy only hold the stick with your pointy 4 fingers using the fifth to lift and bounce the stick
MeBucket yep.
Who cares? You just play how you feel best with
Cameron Morris agree I'm also a percussionist and had the exact same thought
Watch Joey jordison and you will you will regret the term, "Expert" lol
Jerry Can \m/
Jerry Can joey is so goddamn overrated
Spoodermen Produktionz have you seen one of joey's solos, this guy is nothing compared to an expert.
Jerry Can have you seen neil pert's solo live? Joey is nothing compared to an EXPERT. See? It's the same logix
Spoodermen Produktionz whatever man
One of the reasons i like your videos is that you look so natural when your playing.
That was absolutely awesome sir. Well done
who watching this in 2016
2017
ronnie steven 2017 but close
great dude! I have guitar hero for the Wii and every game they ever had for it but I maxed it out...only 3 songs I couldnt master...Never thought about getting a drum set....you made me come to a decison...breathe some new life into my old stuff...Thanks!
Thank you for actually playing something in the fill sections. Much appreciated.
I play band hero and I'm not a drummer. I play the trumpet, I guess you could say that I'm good at it. but band hero is better for teaching people to learn to play the drums because the kit has 2 symbols and 3 drums ( one snare one tom and the bass) it also has the actual bass drum pedal. just by playing a few songs every day I've already taught myself how to do a decent roll. after a while you memorize where the drums are so you only have to look at the screen then to see what you have to hit. I like it I think you guys should try band hero. by the way this is not an advertisement I just felt like typing so I just put this together. lol
Your Rock Band drums actually makes it sound a little better :D
I love how his reaction to fc-ing a song like this is just "yeah", like dude you just did something so unbelievably hard aren't you excited?
Was this video taken down?? I couldn't find it a couple months ago. I'm glad it's back up!
that "yea" at the end.. best part ever. 10/10 m8
It's so tough to nail every damn part, but guaranteed you can play this on real drums. It seems like less work when you actually play it on drums because you don't have notes staring you in the face moving down in a fast pace, so the nervousness wouldn't be present. I really like drumming. Rock Band actually started me off in my passion for drums, but I've progressed to the point where something like this that looks very tough to someone else isn't that tough at all. It's doable! It just takes practise and a drive!
That tv tho 😂😂😂
and LCD TV's have quite alot of input lag. CRT's are quite alot better for games that require precision and are fast paced.
God I wish I could go back to the Rock Band glory days. Was so fun at parties
I remember Trapped Under Ice in World Tour. That was fun. Keep it up bro!
The algorithm brought me here and I'm not complaining
Btw anybody watching this in 2018 should know that 10 years ago this kind of quality video was top notch lol
Lee is an incredible drummer....not just in video games. To the guy who said 'kids these days' he's not a kid either, he's in his thirties! ---Lee's brother
Who thinks it's actually satisfying when the bass drum is actually hit. It's so majestic.
I love your double strokes, they're even and sound good.
that song got owned dude, totally gj. keep rocking lml
Need more videos of this guy, its sad that he dont do videos anymore.
If you watch this video from time it was released. And still watch from time to time in 2020 :) cheers
Back for my yearly watch.
Same
You obviously don't know how fucking amazing IBite is.
R= right hand.
L= Left hand
RL or RRLL or whatever refers to the pattern your hands strike the drum.
155,275 -- 143,875 = 11,000.
55 notes hit in 8X.
1,581 + 55 = 1,636.
I still need to keep calculating.
been looking for this for a long time, just forgot the song name
Why is this back in my recommended? BTW this man is an OG legend
I am a drummer and I will strive to be as good as this guy. he is a perfect role model for how good I want to be in the future.
This video got me to like this song. Never hears it before this.
Just ordered rock band 3 and the drum kits online after watching this video, been playing guitar (a real one) all my life but this just looks too awesome!!!
will somebody please answer me, are these stock drums with pads or are they electric. if they are what kind are they
It's either the game controller (set) or electric drums that he uses in the game. I've only played the game a few times when it first came out.
176,975 -- 155,275 = 21,700.
217 notes hit in 4X.
And the final part...
1,636 + 217 = 1,853.
There are 1,853 notes in Hands Down.
What helped me to stop tensing up was to hold the sticks looser and relax my shoulders and I now sit back further from my IONs. Hope that helped :)
the song name is Expert Drums by Hands Down
Woah how do you record that drum board in front of you because I have a TH-cam and I don’t know how to do that.
if i would "TRY" i'd lost somewhere around 00:18
at the end he was like, "yeah" finally a new video for my channel, its sounds so easy for him ;-;
