PERIOD !! like how they had at least 3 kiss scenes before they were boyfriends and NONE when they started dating. imo the chemistry died when they decided to go to the camp, it was such a typical bl plot: bottom gets lost in forest, top finds him. then every scene just got awkward. ManType outsold them in every level.
@@brandonnguyen5742 lol you're right, I was just talking about this the other day, how there are some many plot points about one of the guys getting lost and how it's always the love interest that finds him, but you made me realize that it's not just any guy that gets lost in a forest. It's the stereotypical bottom that gets lost. Wow.
Shhh......don't you know that high fives is the new way to show your love? Hugs are so overrated and not as intimate. From now on high fives are reserve for lovers. This is intended for sarcasm purposes.
That is the biggest proof that it is the actors, not story or the directors.Because the director and story writer are not newbie. They know what works n what not.If and only if the actors or actor involved objects, then the director has to do with whatever he is allowed to.Hecan't force actors to kiss/hug if they do not want to.That would be coersive.
I've High Five my boyfriend... but while watching the show, the context in which it was used , a kiss would seem out of place... it was more like an expression of happiness and excitement rather then a show of affection or romance.... though i could be wrong and interpreted it wrong... as most romance do not do this gesture, or to be precise, this gesture isn't really associated with romance as its more of a friendship or team-spirited winning... but the way they used it in the show showed how their partnership wasn't just romance but a friendship and partnership which is usually associated with older and longer relationships..... rather then seen in new and younger love that has just started out....
Frederick Gonzalez Everybody is angry about the high 5 its because Sarawatine just got back together after a break up! So everybody is expecting a hug, a kiss, or a kiss on a forhead, not a freaking high 5. Who would do a high 5 when somebody just got back together after a break up?
I really hate that they feel compelled to make the females the obstacle/problematic. Like you said, she was not the worst female character in BL, but its more the fact that they had to option to make her supportive and chose not to that rubbed me the wrong way.
And they changed the sarawat wives fc into these meany hateful not cute fc instead of these cute supportive and heartwarming bunch of females that are fans of sarawat.
Agree with you, why women must be the second class in every relationship? Why women must be the whore and bitch or witch and destroyer for every relationship??? Why must manipulate and downgrade women??? As far as i know, the person that always except their child as LBGTQ+ community is our MOTHER or BESTIES(Girls) and women always fight for LBGTQ+ community, but why in screen women always portray as the bad team side??? Totally cant relate to it.
That was so disappointing like c,mon a hug would be have sweet. The last few episodes were like really awkward and I am sorry but win could have put more soul into his acting he was so lost all the time :/
At the beginning they both were cute and charming together but when they became an official couple they suddenly lost all of their charisma . Also I need to mention that scene in the forest where they took a shelter inside the bus and Wat confessed his long time crush on Tine AND NOTHING HAPPENED!!! I mean even a hug would be nice show us some connection ppl
Annie Romanowski SAME !!!! it was so hard to watch Wat constantly fighting for their love and being his sweet/ honest/ openly in love /caring self all the time , while Tine standing there doing nothing in return and drowning in doubts and hesitations . Sometimes i think he never loved Wat as a boyfriend, he only fell in love with the idea of someone blindly loving him , someone who will choose him over and over again. As we see in the first couple episodes, Tine is that flirty , sweet tongued dude with girls , but when it comes to Wat he suddenly can't function (: !!!!!
I have said this in many TH-cam comment sections lol but the lack of connection between the mls made it hard to believe Wat fell in love with Tine at first sight.
I was SOO disappointed, 2gether was my alarm clock every Friday, and now it’s like a bad aftertaste. Something so sweet and intimate without skinship, turned so bland and uncomfortable. That high five pretty much summed up the ending. Nothing memorable, for something that helped me cope with a hard time...
Exactly! What kind of lovers or boyfriends gave each other a high-five after all the dramas & made up? Even without a kiss scene, at least a hug would be nice. But no! They gave each other high-five! In short, they just didn’t portray the chemistry between two lovers should have.
When I realized Tine was never going to ever initiate any feelings back in the show it made me feel so sad. Like he just sits there and lets Sarawat do everything. He, hurts, alone, keeps his feelings to himself and doesn't express anything it makes it so one sided that I actually ended up so angry with this series cause it was just Sarawat doing everything always. While Tine stared at him like a blank goldfish. And yes I know calling someone a goldfish in Thai is an insult. I stand by it.
This. I dont understand the people who said they relationship is so cute. Like..am I blind? Win's back must be broken on how hard he carried this show until the end
This, totally this. It was Sarawat the one who technically fought for this relationship, while Tine just stayed idly by. And when it was his time to defend what it was his, lol, he cries and runs away. Also, while Win's acting got better as the series progressed, I felt the opposite with Tine as a character, who was at first very charismatic, energetic and funny, and for the last episodes he lost most of his charisma.
I don't see where Sarawat had a problem with doing everything. He just wanted to love Tine and make him happy and I would have done the same thing myself. What upset me the most was the beginning of ep 13, I kept yelling to Wat to follow them to the hospital. But I also said to myself maybe it's time for Wat to let Tine go because of his selfish behavior but Wat loved him to much. And of course I was wrong.
Ik he's insecure and yeah I get him but Tine who's in ep 7 despite being so insecure can express all his problems and confess to Sarawat but then in ep 11, 12, 13 he became so timid too timid that he seems like a completely new person the same goes with Sarawat who can tell everyone that he was dating Tine but couldn't utter a single word to Pam...? I'm astounded throughout the eps.
I was kind of disappointed with ep. 13 story line, not the acting. I just felt sad. Thought it would've been more romantic ending. Romantic comedy but the finale wasn't enough romantic moments. I am staying away from watching the last 2 episodes again. I feel exhausted of Tine' overthinking scenes again and again.
Considering the year it was released and the level of quality BL series are expected to attain, I think 2gether has one of the worst endings in BL history. This is my opinion and I'm not gonna back down.
@@emmanuelaadebisi5743 but as gut wrenching as modc ending was, it still was so well done! The acting was phenomenal. But the ending of 2gether just felt flat and one dimensional. Is Scrubb a huge group in Thailand? Because maybe ending with a Scrubb concert is like ending with a BTS concert, no additional excitement needed.
There are a lot of missed opportunities for cute gesture, like a bunch in episode 11 alone. Ex: when Sarawat washing Tine's hand, there's a dirt spot on his cheek and I can't help but imagining Sarawat wipe it off lovingly. Or when they look up to the starry sky, Sarawat hand could go around Tine's waist instead of his shoulder, etc. The Finale scene could be better if they choose to shoot all that scenes with stage (freshy night, altermajeeb/open house, scrubb concert, music competition) the last one (before the forest), because then they will already have better chemistry with each other. Lastly, as I watch P'Jenny's reaction video with Nong Bright, I realized what I have been feeling about the last episode. Bright explained it for me. So the Finale would be better if it takes into consideration Sarawat feeling and not just leave it for audience to think what Tine's doing is okay. I mean, Tine's feeling is valid, but that doesn't make what he was doing to Sarawat is okay! And NO problem resolved with one side feeling sorry (without saying it) and the other side is too ready to forgive. They have to, at the very least, get the word out (S: I never doubt you and always love you, but you always doubt me. I hope you try to understand me better. T: I overthink things and disregard your feelings. I'm sorry, I'll try to communicate better) THE END
there was this one scene that bugged me. i’m not sure which ep it was on but it was when tine was looking at pam’s ig and sarawat came up and sat on the desk and asked if he was okay, then after that he just said ‘alright i’m off the practice then’ and patted? his? back? like i thought they were dating? the least the could’ve given us was a forehead or cheek kiss lmao
@@ideknidcbro yeah, that one too, definitely a missed one. The most casual way a lover can do in that situation, seeing that Sarawat is standing and Tine is sitting, is to kiss the top of his head then ruffled it as he was leaving. How cute would that be?
@@ideknidcbro Ikr.. They SHOULD ACT like SARAWATINE, NOT BRIGHTWIN.. We all know sarawat madly in love in tine, and he should act more lovingly towards tine when they become boyfriends. In that episode also, some scenes looks like sarawat avoided tine when tine initiate skinship, i don't get it at all. Some said, they look natural when acting, and yes that natural of BRIGHTWIN, not SARAWATINE. One more thing, we should get at least a forehead kiss and bed cuddling, but in the end? We got nothing.. Just head patting and high 5 thing? Wth.. 🙄 The production, editing team and director should re-check every single scene, so that the story plot become more realistics and relevant. They looked like they rushed making this series. I don't know why tho..
Conclusion:We are all disappointed from "Hi five the series" Why? :Bcuz we invested so much into them and we just wanted to see them as a real couple in the series for once. When I say real couple I don't mean 18+ scenes, just normal stuff like at least a hug. The writing of the series for me really fell off in the couple last episodes. How can Sarawat, the guy who liked a person for one year without even knowing his name, go like "oh you have cried and you are sad, that's so not interesting", plus they did dirty to the female characters throughout all the series, milphukong was rushed etc. The characters and chemistry are good, but GMM shouldn't acted all smart with the script when there was a perfect written novel there.
When you said normal stuff 🔥 I agree. Also, without the viewers it’s nothing.. I agree that most of the people invested so much. After the series, I felt like we are so used. Hahahaha
@@WillJeSuis_ thank u! u re my wifey..... ur the hubby! bullshit! they re both males! there is 2 bfs 2 husbands! BL concept; make females dirty 2 put on DRAMA..... put on inappropriate scenes (rape, sexual harassement) and made them look NORMAL.... I M NOT GAY I JUST LOVE U.... this is why i m in love with WHY R U the series (my engineer and YYY too)
I really really really wished they went with the novel ending instead. Or I would have wanted them not to change Pam's character and actually focusing on Tine's insecurities. And not make Phukong be Mil's second choice. I loved the actors. Their chemistry was amazing but at the last episode, it's probably due to reading the novel's ending earlier that I actually expected a lot more I was a bit let down. Although Bright's explanation in Jennie's video does add some more sense in here, there are a lot of questions and plot holes left. I also wished that instead of Bright explaning Sarawat's feelings and position on a random reaction video, the director actually added them in the series by Sarawat's P.O.V so that we could understand more of him. But it's probably just me being demanding.
Ur actually right, the director having Bright explain for the series portrays how the director flopped and ruined an otherwise good series. I still love BrightWin and 2gether series so much it has a special place in my heart and is still one of the top out there for me (too generous maybe lol and I really loved the series except the ending). I'm just so sad they did it dirty waaaa they changed too much from the novel.
YES. no one talks enough about how horribly mil and phukongs relationship was handled. it was rushed and because of it, as you said, phukong just looked like a mediocre second choice and that just does him zero justice :(
2gether's ending has to be the biggest catastrophe of 2020 (excluding Corona). 2gether really had the potential to be THE best produced Thai BL ever. It's just sad to see that the quality didn't continue into the last few episodes. Personally, I don't want a second series. I'm too afraid they will fuck it up again and honestly I don't want another drama filled series with this couple. Especially after we've seen how easy it was to break them up the first time. Edit: grammar
I thought you wrote including corona for a moment and I almost snorted out my coffee. :D I definitely agree with your post now that I've read it properly, haha!
Respect Begets Respect Its the actors alright. Even if the plot is bad. In BL, people came to see the chemistry. But lets be honest here. Their chemistry is slowly dying episode after episode.
Im with all of you, what kill this drama is the last couple episodes and it was not for the kiss. Its that they lost their chemistry they had in the the beginning of the drama. Instead to look like a couple, they look like brothers or good friend. You can feel there is nothing romantic between them, and they supposed to be an already establish couple. That make it worse. Also, what make this drama good, it was the flirting. A second season will be a bad idea, because most of the time is about jealousy. In Tharntype2 i expected that too but i hope they give us more than that, like the first season it was more than just fall in love.
other couples: kiss and says "love u" sarawat tine: high five some people says this is soft/pure love but this idea is bullshit. That way They look like bestfriends dont like boyfriends.
Ikr. soft pure love is what sotus showed, allll the way to the end. I really thought 2gether was gonna be the same way but that ending was plain disappointing
Yeah soft pure love with fluff could have been them cuddling or hugging each other, just being sweet. No one expected a full on make out session from them but a high five?!?!?!?!??
@@cinnamonroll96 ikkkkkkk small touches and looks like they did in the first few episodes. If only they kept it up instead of flushing it down the drain
Firstly I fully agree with you about Mil and Phukong, I didn’t like their ship at all and Mils leave your heart open if I don’t get tine is toxic at best, I really didn’t like that. I don’t understand why they strayed so far from the book, from what you’ve told/shown us the book sounds great and had a wonderful ending, why did GMM and the director go and ruin it with the disaster they gave us? This is the biggest disappointment of a series ever, I wanted to binge it again and be desperate for a second series, now, I have no interest in watching it again nor want a second series. I fully agree with you, I don’t trust them not to deliver a good series.
Yeah, like honestly ... Phukong was a really weird character from the start but then he gets seconds and is okay with that??? Who wants a relationship like that? They were both extremely unlikable too and only took time away from what we really wanted to see.
Even in season 2 there is something about Phukong and Mil that is just really off. Even though there were cute moments, the whole part where Phukong didn't even know that they were dating because it wasn't Mil's "thing" to act like a boyfriend was just really freaking weird. Although, thankfully we finally got to see some major character development, and the growth every couple went through together, which made season 2 wayyyy better than season 1, imo.
Same, when i watching that episode, after they looking at each other with are confused face, I'm even more confused than them😂. Because I'm just see Wat is hugging his friend before after their announce the winner, but when it towards Win, they only high 5??Wadahelllllll bro,??? Boi, are u kidding me??! 😂😂😂😂I keep thinking, unsatisfied everytime after finished the serious, they supposed be kiss at cheek or forehead if there can't make a lips kissing scene front of people's.
Despite the shitty execution of ep 13, I still think that 2gether is overall a great series. A lot of memorable scene across the series that I can hold on to. But I hope for a special episode rather than season 2. A special episode with no drama but only filled with happiness n love. Aftermath: Sotus remained as my ultimate BL series. But brightwin won my heart now. I can't get enough of them♥️
The bracelet missing was a a very big plot hole I must say I would also have loved scenes where Tine initiated... I would love to read the novel one-day if I could find an official translation And yes, 2gether didn't do justice to my DrakeFrank ship 💔
Oh c'mon, we all agree that at least a kiss on Tine's forehead would be great to be included in the last episode of this series! That bro/bestie high5 really turned me off haha and it seems awkward tho. Couldn't agree no more, a hug sounds better at least! 🥺
I agree with everything you said. Honestly I wish we had gotten more cute moments that weren't based around drama. Also in terms of script, I wish they showed us how much Tine really loved Wat. He made a comment (I do not remember the scene exactly) saying that once he loves someone, he would give all his trust to that person. In my point of view, I felt that Tine often felt insecure throughout their relationship. As you said, Tine is an overthinker but it was not the most obvious thing to me in the series so this is why I felt this way.
I wasn't "disappointed" with the ending mostly because I had started losing interest in the series several episodes before it. I enjoyed Wat & Tine as a couple but something was missing towards the end for me. Not something I would re-watch but I also don't regret watching it. Maybe I went in with too high expectations, there's been a few great series recently and I thought this would top most of them.
Does anyone else feel like this show crashed and burned when they started living together? Like, I enjoyed it up until that point but from then on I was just like......."really?" I couldn't even really watch it is was so bad. Does the book jump from them becoming boyfriends to living together immediately? Because I just found it so jarring and bizarre. The fact that they took their relationship from "awkward flirting/little physical contact/being unsure of feelings and sexuality" to "LIVING TOGETHER AND SHARING A BED" was INSANE to me. The only way it might of worked with this story/these actors is if they took it slow and focused on the very beginning of their relationship. If they focused on, say, their first dates, and neither of them being used to physical affection or how exactly to act as boyfriends and being awkward but slowly getting used to each other I think it could have worked. But if you are living with someone that means you are VERY comfortable and established with them. Like, if you're unsure about dating a guy and feel awkward with physical affection there is no way in hell you'd move in with that person. It was so weird once they moved in together because a couple that moves in together and shares a bed is not going to be weird and shy about a simple kiss (the way Tine was when he dodged Sarawat). Like, Tine was acting like he'd never kissed Sarawat before and was super shy, which I think would have worked fine if they went from Tine accepting Sarawat as his boyfriend to like....a first date with them trying to figure out how to act when dating? But the fact that they had them move in together was insane and completely ruined that because you do not move in with someone you just started dating who you haven't kissed yet wtf. If they move in together in the book they should have changed the series MORE because this story and these actors could not handle portraying a more developed/comfortable relationship. I've never read the book but I don't want to give it too much credit either considering some people seem to think Sarawat raped Tine in it. Altogether this series was kind of an example of like, almost every bad BL trope to me, haha. Characters acting bizarrely, weird unnecessary jealously, female character problems, "'bottom'" character getting weird and weepy and weak and losing his personality, horrendously uncomfortable attempts at portraying a couple, lack of physical affection, terrible writing, etc.Sorry, I just need to vent a little.
@@sunfloweeerrry legit I hate that people hate Duen, when he only being realistic. Like he didn't wanna move in with Bohn because they just started their relationship and he wanted the reassurance that they weren't gonna break up (T^T and from the looks of ep13 he was right to do so)
@@King-zi9ch Tbh duen is reasonable. he is really smart and know how to treat himself well even tho people around him thought of him as a dummy boy, he always chose the best choice for himself. the only problem i hv is with bohn. that boy needs to control his anger and learnt to give duen some space they're only beginning into their relationship he shouldn't hv rush thing or duen will just pull away.
@@sunfloweeerrry ikr, Bohn needs to work on his angry, trust Duen more, and communicate. I can't even stress that enough. Duen gives him chances to communicate with him but Bohn just shuts down 😔. I like that Duen's character doesn't just take whatever Bohn says. If he's being mistreated he's gonna fight back. And Duen is silly and likes to makes friends, I dislike that Bohn basically wants to lock him up and not have him talk to anyone, I get that he is insecure about there relationship but if he just told Duen that there would be no problems
tbh the ending really threw me off, and like you, i would always crack up watching sarawatine's high five, it's like they turned from fake dating to bro friends, they had more kisses when they were fake dating than when they were really in a relationship, ep10 did the justice of their relationship though. but yes, a hug or maybe that forehead kiss would made it cuter and intimate, i really wanted to see something tine initiated :(( i'll just pretend 2gether ended on ep11 lmao
I love 2gether but aftr sarawatine moved in together the chemistry felt lacking than the earliest ep but thank you for mantype and the fact that their storyline didn't hv major changes. (p. s. also I'm not that supportive of an unplanned season 2 cos mostly it never end well)
This whole series I kept watching till the end just to see a passionate kiss. Their chamistry was so good but the last 3 episodes wrecked everything up and now it's like a bad aftertaste
First I want to say that I would LOVE a video with the whole compilation of the things they didn’t added from the book. Second: as you said I wished I could ship Mil and and Phukong but I just can’t l, I feel Phukong deserves so much better than be the second option (literally) also they didn’t had that much of development tbh. Third: I agree, the finale was cute but I feel the drama we got was what ruined it, it was overwhelming that I remember that I was having a headache for all I cried in the first two parts of the episode while I was watching the concert, so I was so messed up to enjoy completely. I think we were in need of a cute scene, at first I thought I wanted exclusively a kiss, but over the week I realized I actually just wanted a cute scene of them being fully happy and maybe in private like in backstage or smth, or even just listening music bc that high five really made me cringe so bad, like I really thought they were going for a kiss or hug and then... that happened hahaha. And finally I would like to say that I’m not sure i would like a s2, I mean I would totally watch it If they did but most of the time they add unnecessary drama which I think could make the couple dirty which I don’t want at all so as I said I’m not sure that would be a good idea, so now that 2gether it’s over my little happy dose it’s the novel which I’m reading to have maybe a little new content and get the feel again. (I can’t wait to see what are going to be their next projects in life, I’m really excited)
Just as I was about to rewatch the series again also I hate to admit it but I really enjoyed the book more but at least they both had a happy ending! 😅
Several scenes I did not like in the last 3 episodes but I thought the ending was great. I could not bring myself to watch the ending of ep 12 and the beginning of ep 13 but once and lost interest after that. But all the remaining parts of ep 13 were just fine with me. I love the scene when Tine walked up the stage. I wanted a scene where they were back in their love nest apologizing and hugging each for the misunderstandings between.
You know if a series have kiss scenes it doesn't mean it's bad or smth and same goes with the fact that a series doesn't need to have much kiss scenes.. at the end of the day it depends on how the couple r portrayed .. the best eg for the first expl would be tharntype and together with me cuz for how both the couple r portrayed.. kiss scenes become a necessary. And for the second one best egs in my opinion was(and still is) sotus and after watching together the series , I felt I need to add that also but I felt the chemistry bet the couple felt very less, towards the end of series.. like bros living together.. I dont know.. you know a kiss on the forehead or a hug would have amplified the emotion much more becuz sarawat tine r that couple.. Ig probably because they shot the end in the first due to some budget reason.. both bright and win didnt have enough time to bond over cuz if u observe in the first parts of the series.. they together were phenomenal.. I'm sorry but it felt almost that bright and win carried the plot towards the end.. like nothing else sp to mention..
omg i felt the same! I thought it was only me. when they moved in together even when wat kissed tines cheek a lot i just felt it was a lot like close bros living tgt idk why
but Bright and Win was good in the last bloopers and BTS scenes they hugged and didn't look uncomfortable. So I don't think the problem is a lack of chemistry
@@АннаШвеллер lacking chemistry doesn't necessarily mean being uncomfortable with each other. they have great chemistry as friends as seen from their interviews. especially since this scene was filmed at the beginning, it seems they didnt have (or show) much chemistry as a couple. obviously it's all personal opinion, though. I think you don't have to have intimacy to show you're in love, cql is a good example if you've watched that, so it's really up to acting and chemistry
@@mochees Do you mean Untamed? Yes I saw it and agree with you. I mean Bright and Tine can hug just fine! And head on shoulder was cute. We could be happy with something like that in concert scene. And I think sarawat and Tine had a good chemistry maybe not the greatest but it' rare thing in Thai BL. But I belived them in previous episodes. I belived in Sarawat's love and rising of Tine's feeling. They have been so in love in ep 10! Unfortunatly they begun to keep socially distancing in ep 11.
To be totally honest I liked (not loved) the series until about the 9th episode and then it just got to be ridiculous to me. It looked to me like bright and win were just going through the motions because they had to and it was a job. The only thing that let me stomach it till the end was TypeMan, goofy Boss (I adore Gunsmile) and Fong (Tines friend) . I just hated the lack of even implied intimacy and that high five at the end...i rolled my eyes so hard i saw my brain. I dont think a second season will even salvage this. GMM tanked this one hard.
@@sunfloweeerrry lmao basically all you have to do is watching something that's so ridiculous or stupid that instinct takes over your eyesight and your eyeballs decide to hide from the "dumb" lol
2gether is very cute but there're so many plot holes like the bracelet thing and changes compare to the novel that really bugs me :(( if they have a second season i hope they'll pay more attention to it
I'm so confused about why the show turned so stale like why did they make it sooo pg. They don't really hug/hand holding/cuddling/arm around the waist/shoulder/cheek kiss forget a regular kiss. I've heard gmmtv just wanted to launch the boys by doing a tame bl so that the fans will support all the straight dramas they'll do afterwards. I mean I don't know how to feel about that
Bright & Win were given the right series that truly shines their talents at the right time. As a BL couple, they are best bros doing activities together, not much fanservice (for now). I think BrightWin will most likely be separated eventually, since both already have a large fanbase, so I have to remind myself not to be attached them too much and have fun while it last.
The lgbt causes are used for marketing purposes only. They don't actually want to look too gay.An woke actor who is not gay.Perfect for straight girls nd boys who feels icky seeing gay kisses where they are clearly enjoying it.Little pecks are enough for them because it doesn't make them uncomfortable.
If that is what they are doing they are wasting their time. Sorry, but compared to Korean dramas, Thai straight dramas are full of gender cliches, overacting and unoriginal stories (they steal a lot of Korean plotlines. ) I only watch GMM for the BL and I am beginning to get tired of their obvious homophobia. After the Wasabi Studios stories, WhyRU, and Tharn/Type GMM stories are beginning to pale in comparison. 🤨 I think the difference is that the directors of the series I mentioned are gay. They treat the plot of two men in love with respect. It makes a big difference!
@@sugardragon9001 Also it's questionable that they were hired first before they knew they were going to work together in a BL..thats why Bright said he reacted badly when he met Win cause he wasn't prepared and didn't know he was going to play this role with him or maybe didn't know he was gonna play a BL role. That makes it even more obvious that they didn't think of portraying the story properly but to get clout out of it. Maybe the actors said they weren't comfortable first but as time went on they were fine but it was too late. And I heard they didn't expect the series to go so well that's why it's a lower budget. Sotus is the only series that had a good balance of everything.
I love 2gether as a whole. But I rlly hate the way they made pam's character. The ending definitely was lacking a lot and it didnt make it seem like they were dating especially with that high five 💀💀. They never had a real kiss either. I dont need sex or a whole lot of kissing in a series bc that's a bit unnecessary personally however it just didnt seem like they were in a relationship. (Maybe just like a forehead kiss or even a genuine hug at the end lmao) Also the last ep seemed kinda rushed. Like just with all the couples :// I do wish the series was a bit more like the novel in some aspects.
I know this is off topic but I can't wait for season two of tharntype I feel like everyone was waiting for that one kiss on the last episode but it just never happened 😔😔
Me too. I don't want to pass my judgment on 2gether because it never took my interest in the first place. I never understood the hype. It was too cliche for me. I watched coz I thought it was going to be kinda like Sotus. So I'm not hurt that it ended that way. I only liked Win in the series.
The ending didn't do justice to the drama which had potential to be a great BL series. So for me the rewatch value is zero. SarawatTine were better off in fake dating, the moment they went real it became unrealistic. I was neva interested in leads appearance I was truly enjoying the series untill episode 5 and then lost interest after episode 8, at some points the acting went awakard too. I loved Man & Type more they ended up with better chemistry than the leads.
Strongly agree 😂 At 10th episode everything went down the hill.... At first episodes I even watched the reactions to them and then I only watched the series without the reactions
I was shocked when they're watching Scrub and Sarawat removes his arm from Tine's shoulder. And they didn't kiss once in the final episode. That seemed very weird, given how much Sarawat likes kissing Tine.
I've been waiting for this so everyone would know. I was so troubled after the finale because of so many changes they made, especially on Pam's character it ruined her for the non-novel readers but this post gave me peace of mind. I hope this video reach them all. Thank you, Byulsarang.
The one thing I kind of want to say about bed scenes is that I really don't like the rejection of intimacy that happens so often. Like it makes no sense why someone would constantly be pushing their boyfriend away. And I'm not saying they need to be doing hardcore things all the time. They don't even have to show them having sex. But why is it so scary to just kiss or hug or cuddle? It's not a big deal in my book and it's what I'd call normal intimacy. There's a difference in a build up to sex and that's not what people do most of the time. Just a casual embrace or peck on the forehead or cheek or something incidental like that is very natural. It drives me nuts when there usually one person in these series who just wants to show affection and the other person is constantly freaking out about it. Is that the kind of frustration and drama we really need to see?
How is it totally understandable that if a scene is shot on the first day of shooting it should be bad? Aren't they professional actors who job is to make believe in a blink? That's literally their job. That is a very bad excuse.
Personally I feel for me that the series was really good but the ending was really underwhelming. They seem to be more into each other when they’re flirting instead of dating. I feel like a season 2 would actually save this show for me if we can be able to see this relationship be able to develop more and more and see the chemistry between the two and tine’s feelings develop.
i wish the last episode had more soft scenes or just more moments of them having fun together like they usually would. i totally agree that the drama was really unnecessary. also the ending scene and events in the novel seem so much better, it makes me sad they didn’t decide to follow the novel 😔
The acting felt like 2 straight guys being forced to act like they’re in love. The chemistry was nonexistent like even in bromance you have the chemistry 😂
It's so heartwarming to know that they had such cuter moments in the story. Knowing they had more moments where they talked about their relationship and had heart to hearts is amazing
I would LOVE a season 2 of this show just to see what happens with the side couples, will Mil & Phukong get together, and I would love to see more of Man & Type, since they just became a couple, I would be happy either way with this series, it was an amazing series, and I miss it so much already ( Ĭ ^ Ĭ )
This show had SO MUCH POTENTIAL. So much that it's physically painful to see how easily they threw it away jeez. Till ep 9 everything was going gooooood. There was a good friendship between the two and just enough off-handedness when it came to all the emotions to make it an almost perfect genZ couple. And then they flushed it down the drain from there
I can rewatch most BL dramas but this one was such a disappointment there is zilch chemistry between the two main characters the last episodes were awful what were the script writers doing in the last episode the were more just like friends than lovers all-in all a major thumbs down on this series.
I totally agree with you. I haven’t read the book yet but your videos really show me both sides and I enjoy it. But all I want to say is everyone in this series really tried their best and with the pandemic they really did do their best. And even though before the pandemic they did miss some great chances of making it more dynamic during the pandemic they really tried. I didn’t really enjoy the ending but still appreciated. I’m just glad everyone is supporting the book and the series, because both deserve attention even though the book is better 5555555
I truly believe the only reason the show was even as popular as it was (is???) is because Bright and Win are super good looking. The acting wasn’t all that bad, and the script could’ve been better for sure, but having two hot leads definitely helped it along. I think we all wanted more than what we got. Without a shadow of a doubt I can say I’ll never rewatch it, but I’m glad it introduced me to B and W. I think they can only go up from here. Also, Mil is trash and Phukong deserved better.
@ Sailor Cutie Moon YES YES YES I couldn't agree more! In my own social circle, 2gether gained INSTANT popularity BEFORE the first episode even came out because everyone was fawning over how handsome Bright and how pretty Win is in promotional photos and videos, and throughout the first five episodes, all they could talk about was "Welp, I'm definitely watching this to see Sarawat's handsomeness on screen" About the "true quality" of the series, I'm mostly on the same page as you: I think Win is actually a better-than-average actor and the "senior actors" like Toptap, Mike and Gunsmile did well too, but the script went downhill from like episode five. In the end, I'm glad to have gotten to know Win, I'm looking forward to seeing him in other series (but tbh if you look at interviews/Q&A videos with Bright, he was kinda just acting like himself in the role of Sarawat 🙄)
At least, i am agree with you. The looks of these actors is great. You can see their popularity on IG and gmmtv brag about it. And, it is a feel good serie.
I agree with you in so many things. I love this couple so much that I wanted to ignore the disappointment on ep 13 but it was really a downer. 1. The chemistry between Sarawat and Tine seemed gradually decreasing and they started acting like roommates as the episode progressed which was very weird to me. 2. I do not care for bed scenes or intimate scenes or even a kiss but being in a relationship and getting back together after such a huge fight, a hug was much needed. even just cutely holding hands in concert would have been ok but Hi5? It was probably my WTF moment of 2020. 3. No Phukong, baby, don't settle for being a back up!!! that was just too pitiful :/ Thanks for all the videos you make!!! You have no idea how much excited I get when i see new uploads from you. :)
Things Brightwin could have done to make the finale better: - Win could have leaned on Bright’s shoulder like in the Behind The Scenes footage. - Held hands - Given a final peck on the cheek or smt - Hugged - Piggyback ride What the director ended up having Brightwin do: - High five - Bright scratching Win’s head constantly for lice
omg i agree so much with just wanting to see some laid back scenes!! I remember through my first watch being like "okay so can we actually see them being cute boyfriends together??" like there was a lot of cute moments between them but i really wanted just some scenes of them doing normal everyday things together as boyfriends - i just wanted to see them being boyfriends!!!
The answer is a resounding YES!! Please do all of the videos! Your early 2gether videos made me Ok with Green, who initially rubbed me the wrong way but soon after became someone I couldn't wait to see in an episode. I avoid spoilers like...well, you know what's out there...but somehow you magically transform spoilers into "What to look forward to's!" Your perspective is invaluable! Stay safe and stay sane ❤️
thank you so so much!!! and yes... please do make the compilation, no matter how long it takes..it would be very valuable to us! thank you for all you bring to the experience of watching these shows... it's so so much better with your input...
I don't think those 'because it was one of the first scene they filmed' should be 'understable' that was just plained excuses. They should set their mood and chemistry balance through the series. but what i get from 2gether is their chemistry unbalance.. on off and in some scene they just felt like a brother... the romantic feeling suddenly disappear.. esp in the last episode where they should be so in love with each other.. 😶
I totally agree I shouldn't be an excuse. But I read in one of the comments that the actors may have not even known they were about to film a BL series, so from not even knowing who your co-star is going to be, to filming a romantic totally-non-bromance shot, I can kinda understand the ABSOLUTE MESS those last scenes were. I blame the production crew
@@_maviz_2178 how could they don't even realize wat they will filming. that's so ridiculous 😅 how unprofessional gmm then.. to not inform their actors what kind of series they will shoot. they have workshops and reading before shooting.. so it doesnt even make sense. they didnt know that they will shoot bl series.
ik ik. None of that makes any sense, I had to do a mental gymnastic just to understand how can that happen and why would anyone allow it. Just a whole pile of what the hell
@@_maviz_2178 a whole pile of wth 😂😂 Very good description of what happened.Sarawat Bright did not know it was a BL drama before accepting the offer.I guess it happens for new actors or unknown actors.Someone from the crew knew him and offered saying "do you want to do a drama" did not mention the BL part.He knew it was BL when he met Win for the first time as his partner in the series. And Bright got a shock.Honestly I kinda feel bad for him 😂 it's such an awkward situation! But hd shouldn't have accepted from that point on until he was 100% committed.Maybe he took money beforehand and couldn't do anything about it🤔 too many 'maybe 's.
So stay with me a sec...I love Pete/Kao....that was my favorite ship from GMMTV...love them so much... and crazy looked forward to DBK, started off good, but then drama was too much for me, very little romance/affection.....I almost got angry...but in the end they had a beautiful reconciliation and ended great, the series overall was just too stressful for me...but then I started watching 2gether...lighter, funny...I thought great! I liked that the hook was that Wat liked Tine secretly....I liked the most of the series....I knew there had to be some drama, felt so bad for Tine, BUT....there was no payoff in the end...they made up in like two seconds without really even talking, it was confusing and no romantic ending at all. It does not have to be sex or whatever or french kissing (we'll leave that wonderfully to Saifah/Zon) BUT BUT BUT,,,,,BL ARE SUPPOSED TO BE ROMANCE SERIES...to not end in a kiss of some kind is just plain wrong..
Yes PLEASE do more videos like this!! 👏👏I really enjoy your perspective and information from the novel gives so much more context! I wish there was an official english translation i could buy. Also i really appreciate how you explain your opinions, very respectful and informed 😊 not just blindly hating on things that didnt sit well. I get annoyed when fandoms become toxic bc people cant be respectful, ur videos are so refreshing. I love these kinds of in depth discussions, keep it up!! 😍😍😍
Hold on hold on Phukong and Mil never happened in the book? But I do feel the series was rushed. I think that Mil was starting to fall for Phukong from when Phukong revealed he was Sarawat's brother. Remember the bleachers scene? And the look on Mil's face? And how he ran after Phukong when he delivered the food? His heart was already open. He just didn't realize it.
I was waiting for this. Thank you! I almost have the same thought as yours regarding the series finale. The chemistry was a little bit awkward unlike the previous ones (w/c seems that they were closer before than that) and yeah, hoping for more cute scenes during that episode (not necessarily kissing/bed scene - just them being cute together haha)... Regarding season 2, I'm not okay with it since they ended it in a quite good note already, I'm just worried like you that they might ruin the story by extending it on their own but if ever they do, I'd still like to see it and hope for the best! I miss them :(
I just wanna say that when I started this series I had no expectations, but after the first few episodes I got really into it. I found the acting quite good, the characters were charismatic, funny and- probably what got this series' fans so hyped and engaged to it- good looking. The scenes were humorous, which I enjoyed a lot. However, after the first 8/10 episodes I kinda realized that there were not going to be any major intimate scenes between the lead actors. By the time they became a couple, there were no scenes that really made me feel the complicity between the two of them and the ending turned out to be a delusion for me personally; it felt like I was watching two straight actors just acting, instead of feeling the characters' emotions and empathize with them. The final episode was really sad and cringe to watch as there were no private moments shown between Tine and Sarawat, and the flashbacks thrown here and there seemed forced, introduced just to fill some voids the episode had. I'd say I enjoyed watching it( minus the last episodes) but I wouldn't watch it again, unfortunately.
I definitely agree with the Phukong and Mil relationship, I felt like P'Mil saw Phukong as a "second option" since it didn't work out with Tine. On the bright side we still have that series where they are the main couple in that other series. Thanks for the video btw 💜💜
i still really love the series, it has many great romantic scenes that i'll remember for a long time but yeah there are many issues with the writing/directing. in the end they went with the typical " jealous ex lover" trope which left a bitter taste in my mouth especially cause it wasn't like this in source material. we could've had the last 2 episodes of developing their relationship further but instead we got unnecessary drama and yet another wasted female character😔 p.s i don't want a second season i think they did everythign they could with that plot. new project for brightwin
No one’s talking about how their last shooting was at the camp for Episode 11 but that was actually when the series and the chemistry only got worse. Ironic how it’s expected that they are more comfortable with each other at the end of shooting but actually lost chemistry instead ;-;
I just think the producers should have looked for someone who knew exactly what they were getting into, cause the fact that one of the leads was 'uncomfortable' with bl type of stuff is just ridiculous. Overall they could have made everything differently and this drama wouldn't be such a mess
Everyone focusing how Pam got mistreated is forgetting that even wothout Pam the leads' acting as boyfriends was not romantic but rather it was brotherly. If the actors are uncomfortable then no amount of editing, different director and story could change the final fate of the series.
@@_maviz_2178 He knew what he was getting into.He did it for future opportunities. And he was able to get it even after half-assing his part of the series.People are all about lgbt rights but they are more about handsome faces, then lgbt right becomes the next thing in their 'things I care about ' list.
Yeah the ending was ... not good. Let's not even talk about the Highfive, but the fact that they didn't communicate at all. I didn't mind the jealousy/insecurity angle but jesus, they needed to explain better why Tine felt that way. Sarawat not really knowing how to handle the situation makes sense because it's his first relationship and that's literally his best friend hitting on him. It's confusing! But the fact that they made Tine lose half his braincells to come to the absolutely ridiculous conclusion he came to was really insulting - what sort of person did he think Sarawat was?? And he didn't even apologize for anything in the end.
YES. THIS. not even mentioning the way they "made up", Sarawat just said 'could you give me my guitar back' and 'would you trust me again' like the hell?? I get that you didn't mean to make Tine feel that way but holy Namjoon. Where is the apology? Where is the 'I misunderstood, thank you for explaining'. Sarawat just became a different person. That rushed ending and failed climax ?? And I know it is supposed to be narrated from Tine's pov and everything but where is the 'I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER THAN TO ENGAGE WITH UNNECESSARY DRAMA WITH MY EXCRUSH' I'm so pissed
Honestly when I saw the last episode I feelt soo disappointed, maybe because of the lack of chemistry, or even the awkwardness, but honestly the final didn't sit right for me. I don't think is that necessary a second season, maybe just a special episode... Well that's my opinion Pd I adore your videos, l really enjoy seeing every single second. 💚💚💚
The special book has 5 or 6 chapters, but not all focus on Sarawat and Tine, but those who do talk about their relationship but taking a short leap of time. They are in their second year, they moved to a cheaper apartment and their relationship is going well. If you want to read it, I read the Spanish translation on wattpad but to avoid being erased the name of the book is *"mr chic first love"* and there is the complete novel in Spanish and it is translating the specials, it only has 2 translated. Let me tell you that the novel (including the specials) is pure gold, I highly recommend them ❤️❤️❤️ para quien entienda español puede leerla ;)
Pam? That girl was portrayed like the obstacle and, honestly, it's not OK, at all. Phukong? Deserves better than a man who doesn't genuinely like him back. Sarawatine? I only watched the series and I was so disappointed in how they lacked chemistry and stuff. I would have preferred some more cute interactions (no bed scenes of course but at least pecks etc., just to make them look more like a couple) ManType? One of my favourite side couples. Green? Queen.
That Sarawat from the last 2 episodes? Never heard of him~ That Pam in the series? I don't know her~ The last 2 episodes never happened~ -Me, denying reality-
At least ‘The Shipper’ has just started. Also, if you want to see a BL series, I recommend you to see “where your eyes linger”. It’s a Korean BL (iconic, it’s one of the first Korean series we got). It is aired every Friday. There are only 8 episodes of 10 minutes each, and every Friday, 2 episodes are aired. But it is really worth it. I barely saw the first 2 episodes and I am completely in love. Please, support that serie too!
Just want to thank you for another quality video ☺️ I love the series so much but what happened to the last 2 episodes was almost a disservice to the entire show because it undid 10 episodes of characterization and worst of all shoehorned a girl whose sole purpose was to stir the pot. I have yet to read the novel and novel!Pam sounds lovely. Again thank you for your great takeaways from the series and yes please more 2gether content would be much appreciated x
I really liked 2gether, I started enjoying Fridays again even though I couldn’t go out but honestly the last 2 episodes were a total letdown and they dimmed the positive feelings I had for the show. But I’m still grateful for the show for making the lockdown a whole lot better and for introducing myself to the BL drama world 🥰
As a law student like Tine, the overthinking part, the thinking he's not good enough part, and the not taking care of his physical and mental health part was very spot on.
yasss LOL same. They way Sarawat looked at Tine in ep 5/6/7 gave me so much heartache I thought this series might top but in the end, nope, SOTUS is still the best.
The *BIGGEST* problem I have with the high five, is the fact that he hugged his friends, but couldn't bring himself to hug his boyfriend.
PERIOD !! like how they had at least 3 kiss scenes before they were boyfriends and NONE when they started dating. imo the chemistry died when they decided to go to the camp, it was such a typical bl plot: bottom gets lost in forest, top finds him. then every scene just got awkward.
@@vooshkhan6247 so Bright was okay with hugging his other male cast mates but not Win? Is that what you're implying?
I didn't realise I'm supposed to high five my boyfriend instead of kiss him.
I think my husband would be fine with that, lol.
Kiss is not a big matter in Thailand that’s why they shown up that way especially in the public space
Lesson learn. I should not give people high fives unless it is my boyfriend. But I am allow to give out hugs.
Frederick Gonzalez
Everybody is angry about the high 5 its because Sarawatine just got back together after a break up!
Misogynists at GMM? It certainly doesn’t come from the author in this case
And also the unnecessary sexualisation of those female members of the swimming club 🙄
like literally for what :(( why didn’t they just stick with it aaghhhh i rlly do not compreheeend
Totally cant relate to it.
you know why the high five scene cracks ME up, because it was such a STRAIGHT THING TO DO HAHAHAHHAHAHAHA
It was like two brothers or best friends😂😂😂
Sarawat did hug his friends with who he win the contest lol. It's was way too too straight to only do a 🖐🖐 with tine
That was so disappointing like c,mon a hug would be have sweet. The last few episodes were like really awkward and I am sorry but win could have put more soul into his acting he was so lost all the time :/
Rarely does a BL become LESS gay as it progresses...

As we see in the first couple episodes, Tine is that flirty , sweet tongued dude with girls , but when it comes to Wat he suddenly can't function (: !!!!!
reeha 1345 I just knew about this ! lets hope for the best🙏
AGREED
I have said this in many TH-cam comment sections lol but the lack of connection between the mls made it hard to believe Wat fell in love with Tine at first sight.
@@hritumitra513 I hope I'll still have the interest after giving us an underwhelming ending.
I was SOO disappointed, 2gether was my alarm clock every Friday, and now it’s like a bad aftertaste. Something so sweet and intimate without skinship, turned so bland and uncomfortable. That high five pretty much summed up the ending. Nothing memorable, for something that helped me cope with a hard time...
omg so true
Let's consider episode 10 as the Finale
It's such a pity that they stopped at 11 episodes.
This is exactly how I feel... I'm glad you put it into words, a bad aftertaste is it exactly ://
This is my opinion and I'm not gonna back down.
kimmie fonze
I think it’s up there with Make my day counts.
Sirivan Nomany WE DON’T TALK ABOUT THATTTT
@@emmanuelaadebisi5743 but as gut wrenching as modc ending was, it still was so well done! The acting was phenomenal. But the ending of 2gether just felt flat and one dimensional. Is Scrubb a huge group in Thailand? Because maybe ending with a Scrubb concert is like ending with a BTS concert, no additional excitement needed.
@@harvestmoon_autumnsky that's some on point similarity and explanation 😂
I'm sorry, I'll try to communicate better)
THE END
Dude...omg I thought I was the only who got irritated by that dirt on his face and was waittiingg for sarswat to wipe it off 🙁
there was this one scene that bugged me. i’m not sure which ep it was on but it was when tine was looking at pam’s ig and sarawat came up and sat on the desk and asked if he was okay, then after that he just said ‘alright i’m off the practice then’ and patted? his? back? like i thought they were dating? the least the could’ve given us was a forehead or cheek kiss lmao
Dolly Jay lol even Bright and Win are more cute and sweet in real life that SarawatTine, and they are supposed to be the boyfriends here.
Conclusion:We are all disappointed from "Hi five the series"
Why? :Bcuz we invested so much into them and we just wanted to see them as a real couple in the series for once. When I say real couple I don't mean 18+ scenes, just normal stuff like at least a hug.
The writing of the series for me really fell off in the couple last episodes. How can Sarawat, the guy who liked a person for one year without even knowing his name, go like "oh you have cried and you are sad, that's so not interesting", plus they did dirty to the female characters throughout all the series, milphukong was rushed etc. The characters and chemistry are good, but GMM shouldn't acted all smart with the script when there was a perfect written novel there.

this is why i m in love with WHY R U the series (my engineer and YYY too)
I really really really wished they went with the novel ending instead.
The problem is not with the actors who portray the roles but with the script writers and director.
Respect Begets Respect
Its the actors alright.
Even if the plot is bad.
In BL, people came to see the chemistry.
But lets be honest here.
Their chemistry is slowly dying episode
after episode.
I ageee with you guys. They just don’t have that much chemistry between them. (They are good individually, I have no comment for that)
Im with all of you, what kill this drama is the last couple episodes and it was not for the kiss. In Tharntype2 i expected that too but i hope they give us more than that, like the first season it was more than just fall in love.
other couples: kiss and says "love u"
sarawat tine: high five
some people says this is soft/pure love but this idea is bullshit.
@@persgodiva fully agree! I actually like Drake and Frank in my tee so was happy to see them again but I didn't like either character in this series
I was so confused when they high fived. I had to pause just to process what happened lol
😂😂😂😂it was a mess ,they looked like brothers or best friends

Oh c'mon, we all agree that at least a kiss on Tine's forehead would be great to be included in the last episode of this series! That bro/bestie high5 really turned me off haha and it seems awkward tho. Couldn't agree no more, a hug sounds better at least! 🥺
“You don’t have to agree” Me: But I do 👁👄👁 But like that high five was EPIC 😂(sarcasm)
"Bruh"
This is so true. I have only rewatched ep 1 to 10 nothing further than that. It lost its charm after that. It didnt feel like theyre bfs. Urgh.
Syeda Zainab I wrote this comment with caution too because I know how things can quickly get out of hand.
They should hv learnt from my engineer when bohn asking duen to move in with him 😂
Yes! Agree with everything you said, which is why I don't get why people are still so hyped about this series
@@sunfloweeerrry legit I hate that people hate Duen, when he only being realistic. Like he didn't wanna move in with Bohn because they just started their relationship and he wanted the reassurance that they weren't gonna break up
(T^T and from the looks of ep13 he was right to do so)
@@King-zi9ch Tbh duen is reasonable. he is really smart and know how to treat himself well even tho people around him thought of him as a dummy boy, he always chose the best choice for himself. the only problem i hv is with bohn. that boy needs to control his anger and learnt to give duen some space they're only beginning into their relationship he shouldn't hv rush thing or duen will just pull away.

@@АннаШвеллер yes cql is untamed. social distancing haha djfjsk glad to see it wasn't just me tripping when i felt bro vibes after they moved in
To be totally honest I liked (not loved) the series until about the 9th episode and then it just got to be ridiculous to me.

(Maybe just like a forehead kiss or even a genuine hug at the end lmao)
Also the last ep seemed kinda rushed. Like just with all the couples ://
I do wish the series was a bit more like the novel in some aspects.
I know this is off topic but I can't wait for season two of tharntype
I feel like everyone was waiting for that one kiss on the last episode but it just never happened 😔😔
Tt2 is all that's keeping me going at this point honestly 😭
Yep! Now that's a couple with chemistry
Me too. I don't want to pass my judgment on 2gether because it never took my interest in the first place. I never understood the hype. It was too cliche for me. I watched coz I thought it was going to be kinda like Sotus. So I'm not hurt that it ended that way. I only liked Win in the series.

At first episodes I even watched the reactions to them and then I only watched the series without the reactions
couldn't agree no more...
I was shocked when they're watching Scrub and Sarawat removes his arm from Tine's shoulder. And they didn't kiss once in the final episode. That seemed very weird, given how much Sarawat likes kissing Tine.
I stopped watching in ep 11 and seeing comments about the ep 12 and 13 makes me really glad I did.
This video makes so much sense. I thought I was the only one who got so confused to how everything went downhill at the end of the series.
Episode 13 was such a let down tho 😔💔
Mil is trash, in the series, but my Frank/Drake ship is beautiful and sweet.
@ Sailor Cutie Moon YES YES YES I couldn't agree more!
In my own social circle, 2gether gained INSTANT popularity BEFORE the first episode even came out because everyone was fawning over how handsome Bright and how pretty Win is in promotional photos and videos, and throughout the first five episodes, all they could talk about was "Welp, I'm definitely watching this to see Sarawat's handsomeness on screen"
About the "true quality" of the series, I'm mostly on the same page as you: I think Win is actually a better-than-average actor and the "senior actors" like Toptap, Mike and Gunsmile did well too, but the script went downhill from like episode five.
In the end, I'm glad to have gotten to know Win, I'm looking forward to seeing him in other series (but tbh if you look at interviews/Q&A videos with Bright, he was kinda just acting like himself in the role of Sarawat 🙄)
YES MIL IS TRASH AND PHUKONG DESERVES BETTER
3. No Phukong, baby, don't settle for being a back up!!! that was just too pitiful :/
Thanks for all the videos you make!!! You have no idea how much excited I get when i see new uploads from you. :)
Things Brightwin could have done to make the finale better:
- Win could have leaned on Bright’s shoulder like in the Behind The Scenes footage.
- Held hands
- Given a final peck on the cheek or smt
- Hugged
- Piggyback ride
What the director ended up having Brightwin do:
- High five
- Bright scratching Win’s head constantly for lice

@@_maviz_2178 a whole pile of wth 😂😂
Very good description of what happened.Sarawat Bright did not know it was a BL drama before accepting the offer.I guess it happens for new actors or unknown actors.Someone from the crew knew him and offered saying "do you want to do a drama" did not mention the BL part.He knew it was BL when he met Win for the first time as his partner in the series. And Bright got a shock.Honestly I kinda feel bad for him 😂 it's such an awkward situation! But hd shouldn't have accepted from that point on until he was 100% committed.Maybe he took money beforehand and couldn't do anything about it🤔 too many 'maybe 's.
Isn't there usually a workshop period where they get to know each other
I was waiting fo your video because all I have to do is AGREE with you.
ppl might hate me
but after the last few episodes I don't like the show anymore
SAME I liked it at the start but gradually I didn't
sameeeeee
Me too
i think i like the series only till ep 10 :(
I agree. The series would be better if it ended in episode 11 🙁
I was really looking forward this video. I waited for this for a whole week.
sorry it took so long haha 💗 💗
byulsarang don’t worry! The wait was worth it. 💞
Hold on hold on
Phukong and Mil never happened in the book?
You summer up how I feel exactly. The series was a major letdown.
YES! do a compilation of all the scenes & moments they kinda left out or changed in the series please 🙏🏻
I definitely agree with the Phukong and Mil relationship, I felt like P'Mil saw Phukong as a "second option" since it didn't work out with Tine. On the bright side we still have that series where they are the main couple in that other series. Thanks for the video btw 💜💜
NOW THAT YOU MENTIONED THE BRACELET, I CAN'T UNSEE
GMMTV loves to throw in unnecessary drama & rushed ending, the last two episodes took the show from A tier to B tier in my opinion
I like your explanation of the series finale. Thank you for your summary. I agree with your assessment.
i still really love the series, it has many great romantic scenes that i'll remember for a long time but yeah there are many issues with the writing/directing.
in the end they went with the typical " jealous ex lover" trope which left a bitter taste in my mouth especially cause it wasn't like this in source material.
we could've had the last 2 episodes of developing their relationship further but instead we got unnecessary drama and yet another wasted female character😔
p.s i don't want a second season i think they did everythign they could with that plot. new project for brightwin
No one’s talking about how their last shooting was at the camp for Episode 11 but that was actually when the series and the chemistry only got worse.
Ironic how it’s expected that they are more comfortable with each other at the end of shooting but actually lost chemistry instead ;-;
T Kn That’s the tea, without a good face and a good body most people wouldn’t watch. The double standards smh.
_maviz_ Who was the lead that was feeling uncomfortable? I thought both of them said they never felt tension between each other during interviews?
And I know it is supposed to be narrated from Tine's pov and everything but where is the 'I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER THAN TO ENGAGE WITH UNNECESSARY DRAMA WITH MY EXCRUSH'
I'm so pissed
yes...we definitely want a s2
Honestly when I saw the last episode I feelt soo disappointed, maybe because of the lack of chemistry, or even the awkwardness, but honestly the final didn't sit right for me.
I don't think is that necessary a second season, maybe just a special episode...
Well that's my opinion
Pd
I adore your videos, l really enjoy seeing every single second.
I would have preferred some more cute interactions (no bed scenes of course but at least pecks etc., just to make them look more like a couple)
ManType? One of my favourite side couples.
Green? Queen.
The high five cracked me up
Me: who are you telling. I was looking forward to a foreign kiss
That Sarawat from the last 2 episodes? Never heard of him~
That Pam in the series? I don't know her~
The last 2 episodes never happened~
-Me, denying reality-
Thank you for the elaboration! I’m still looking for closure after that finale episode.
2gether and why r u ended, my engineer ending this week, yyy ending next week 😭😭😭😭
@@cotyquiroz It is a bromance, not bl
Ben Smith which one? I do think ‘the shipper’ may be bromance, but I am not sure about how is going to end.
But the Korean one it is a BL serie.
@@cotyquiroz The Korean it has already been confirmed sorry
Ben Smith don’t worry! No problem.
"Bye my loves" is Favorite part☺
I really liked 2gether, I started enjoying Fridays again even though I couldn’t go out but honestly the last 2 episodes were a total letdown and they dimmed the positive feelings I had for the show.
But I’m still grateful for the show for making the lockdown a whole lot better and for introducing myself to the BL drama world 🥰
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHY TYPE WAS CRYING WHILE LOOKING AT THAT DAMN POLAROID
After singing Tine a song dedicated to him, a LOVE SONG! He just high-fived him in the end?!?
The high five looks like they're just friends or brothers, in my opinion :(
As a law student like Tine, the overthinking part, the thinking he's not good enough part, and the not taking care of his physical and mental health part was very spot on.
Both of them are good actors but I don't really see chemistry between them :(
Their chemistry in interviews is far better! They seem to really enjoy each other's company and laugh a lot.
@@annfastiggi845 i know right?! ❤️
There is 2gether’s ending and then we have my engineer’s ending like you get my point ?
I think atleast a hug was supposed to be their
Why was the acting was so werid at the end of the series like sarawat got worst and and tine improved
High Five was like "Hey, Buddy!" It made me laugh so hard...
I was really expecting 2gether to be my ultimate bl series of all time but somehow Sotus is once again undefeated.
SOTUS is still top tier and unmatched
yasss LOL same. They way Sarawat looked at Tine in ep 5/6/7 gave me so much heartache I thought this series might top but in the end, nope, SOTUS is still the best.
You have the same thought as me😃😃😃
sotus is unparalleled
SOTUS the Legend period
That 'high five' also made me feel unsatisfied, a hug is more sweeter and natural.
