I am completely new at coding beginning a new career path do you have a video on explaining connecting words for some reason this is stuck in my head as a ???? maybe I am looking at this wrong and its simpler than I think. any advice please
Hi 👋 Would you say the anatomy and physiology in the Med-term for coding book is enough to prepare for learning coding or would you advise a separate book or course before diving into coding itself? I bought the book and the preface seems to imply that it would/could suffice. I also bought anatomy flash cards to supplement my learning.
hi quick question... so if i get the medical term book for coding 3rd or 4th edition, do i still use the med term book thats already givin by aapc for the med term course? and same question for the A&P do i use the med term book since it has anatomy or do i use the book that aapc gave me for that course too
I want to become medical biller (not medical coder). How much this terminology concepts should i learn. How should I study them in a way that i can at least pass CPB certification.
I been thinking about going into this and I found you going thru TH-cam and you really got my attention.I want to go back to school but,not actually sure which way to go but you really got my attention.
Hi Victoria, I need help. I signed up at AAPC for medical billing and coding course. I did not realize it was a 4 month course. You can add 2 months, then you have to pay for more months. I am also trying to learn terminology, anatomy, and patho. I am doing flash cards, but I only have 2 more months, then I will need to add the two months. I will also need to get a job by then because I need the money coming in. I am spending 5 hours a day Mon thru Fri. I am only on terminology. I am scared I will not be ready to take exam in 6 months. I have 14 chapters to go just in the coding course. What is your suggestion?
I understand your concerns about the 4-month course and feeling overwhelmed. Here are a few suggestions: prioritize key topics, create a study schedule, utilize available resources, practice and review consistently, and stay positive. If you're uncertain about readiness for the exam, consider discussing options or extensions with AAPC or your course instructor.
Hi Victoria! Thank you for all you do to help us with our coding career. Can you please do a video on how to code for infusion, hydration and chemo? Or if you already have a video please guide me on where to find it. I checked your Playlist but didn't find anything. Thanks in advance.
I think you did an identical video 2 years ago. Anyway, I've seen other youtubers who say that coders need as much medical terminology and anatomy as doctors, and I just can't see that being true. You don't need to know everything. As you said, having a baseline knowledge is all that's needed. Besides, we all (should) have reference materials within reach as we code, and we're not making 200 to 300k a year like doctors.
I would say that if you like other creators you can always just keep scrolling. I think she is very knowledgeable and only trying to help others for a budget of $0. You should be nicer on your comments

Did you end up getting the book? Currently doing the med term course through AAPC and wondering if this would be helpful to use as well!
How much medical terminology is really on exam? And can we take the terminology book to the exam??
Hi! I want to become a member for the CEU access. Does it matter which member package I choose?
Those flashcards are used only. Is there any others you might suggest new?

Does anyone know if medcerts is a good college to go for medical billing and coding? @contempocoding
They're not bad. A lot of courses are so similar that it's basically what you make of them.
I’m Cuban, and I just started the course this month. I’m scared…🫣😬
