My birthday gift to my daughter, when she turned 16, was her first bike with the proviso that she pass the Basic Riding Course of the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) first. I strongly encourage all parents to make participation in the MSF course part of their youngsters' motorcycle learning experience. Thank you for being a great role model for my daughter too, Amanda.

Even today what a great story. I met Coco in April 2017. Was honored to have met the man and humbled beyond belief. Went to Cabo and back on the GSA but not as adventurous as you but did see some off-road. The people were as wonderful and giving then as they were with you. Looking forward to going back once all the Covid is over.

Sterling, this was amazing. As you rode out of Copper Canyon in the last scene, maybe I'm a sentimental old fool, but my eyes were sweating a little. And you prove once again that yes, people around the world, are both friendly and helpful in most cases. And I gain even more respect for you with your demonstration of a soft demeaner con pelotas de acero. Thanks for this.

This is special .... I watch a lot of motorcyle video bloggers but there is something about Sterling, and the soul of this solo documentary. I loved it - and the story that arose from the natives and the Ultramarathon was fantastic. Just goes to show you don't need a fully kitted, late edition adventure bike and drones and various Go Pros to convey an adventure :) Well done!

Awesome movie thanks for sharing! In 99, I drove a truck solo all the way down Baja, and then took the ferry over to the mainland. I spent several weeks in Baja, and really enjoyed it. I ended up meeting my wife in Mazatlan. Then 19 years later, December of 2018, I flew my grandson from Mazatlan to Tijuana, and we road 2 up down to La Paz. Then took the ferry to Mazatlan. We stopped in San Felipe, chatted with Coco, and enjoyed San Ignacio. We mostly took paved roads when we could, but it was a great experience for both of us. I hope your journey can motivate others to get out of their comfort zone and go travel. I loved my solo trip, but if you can find someone to share the journey with, it's even better.

Thanks for sharing your experiences. I agree with you thats it more enjoyable with another person or even a few, but solo travel has its own rewards that are untouchable - especially the way it pushes your boundaries and teaches you new things you wouldn't learn with other people.

Just started out making movies like this myself, in much smaller scale, but the way of telling a story is still the same. What a fantastic video, I truly appreciate the hard work you put into it. It showed me things about Mexico that are truly beautiful and to see how kind the people are is so heartwarming. I'm a motorcycle enthusiast myself and would absolutely love to do some adventure riding like that. Take care

One of if not the best adventure riding documentary I've seen. Such rich and powerful stories discovered along your journey. I'm hoping to do a similar thing in my country before I get too old to do so. It would be really helpful to know some of the technical specs in terms of cost time and distance as well. Also in terms of how you prepared, what you took with or what you wish you left behind.

Amazing! This is how we need to influence the rest of the world! We stand to learn so much from other countries and cultures...much love to the Tarahumaras.

Man Alive!! I’ve just completed the Panamerica from Alaska to Ushuaia and it was wonderful to watch this and have all those memories flood back!! By far one of the best mini documentaries I’ve watched of overlander travel. Well done sir 👍

Fantastic film, even when it was recorded in 2009, it only lacks subtitles in Spanish. Greetings from Yucatan, Mexico.
