surprisingly i found it pretty easy as i folded the handle bar stem down and turned the scooter upside down and took the wheel off and placed it on the arm of the scooter as it holds it in place while you unscrew all the screws and pull the tyre off with ease hope this helps

I don’t use that stuff. It gets sticky in the valve stem of the tube

Yes, it’s a pain! Not only to take off and put back together, but you have to baby the hardware or you will break it.
