Yeah 20 years ago I've bought the original PlayStation... And this Demo-Disc came with it. Funny thing is I immediately recognized the soundtrack and it seems like I've played it yesterday. I can still remember how I snuck out of home with the cash my late mom (I love you mom) gave me to buy this legendary console. My mom urged me to keep quiet about this, especially in front of my Dad since he wouldn't approve. When I returned home, I've tried to sneak past my Dad, hiding the package behind my Body, trying to move inconspicuously... when suddenly the very deep and awe-inspiring voice of my Father (owed to decades of heavy smoking) told me to stop and turn around!!! I was in shock when I realized I've got my cover blown, but by whom? As I slowly turned around I saw my Mom and Dad laughing their butts off. As soon as I've recovered from the prank both have played on me, my Dad told me to connect the PS to the TV in the living room, so that everybody can try out some games... Wonderful times, indeed.
So many memories have just flooded back from viewing this video! As soon as the menu music started playing and the selection sounds, I was a 6 year old again with my new psx! Hercules was an awesome game!! Herculade!! I remember in the full game I used to hate the level with the minotaurs, whole level just used to creep me out... I'm babbling on here, so happy you posted this video :D
Oh my god just hearing the menu BGM opened the floodgates of nostalgia, I remember renting PS1 games from Blockbuster in those crappy plastic cases hoping it wasn't too scratched to be able to play it all the way through. So. Much. Nostalgia. It. Hurts. :(

yeah. that Demo had some badass games like Abe's Odyssee and Hercules. they were almost nostalgia since they made the PS2 and such. it's good 2 see those games back and they are still played

TIL you could throw the stone at the boss in Hercules (Demo). I always thought you could only beat him by stomping until a stone fell down on him from the building behind him. And I played the Demo that often, always 100% it.

Yes, there was a T-rex which you could control.(open it's mouth/make it roar and such) It also had a similar funtion but then it was a manta instead of a dinosaur you could control.

To creator of this video: I wonder if you'd be able to capture and upload a video of this demo disc, a certain part of the Abes Oddysee demo was changed in the final version of the game and alas I've lost my Demo 1 disc. Let me know if you could do this; I'd be happy to send you $20 over PayPal for the trouble. The part in question: the mincers towards the end of the demo made a hilarious sound effect when you jumped into / crushed slig. I remember it being the funniest sound effect ever.
@UnknownBastard2007 I was thinking the same thing. I'm a PC gamer, and have about 200 games on Steam... but not a single one I want to play, and when I do I play them for about 2 minutes. I'm not sure what it is. Getting older or getting more spoilt.

no, but it look alot the same...in the title, i dont remember the whoke name...but "tycoon or psyco" were part of it i think...and the character had a purple, pink or a orange suit...and the view were directly above and not the view angle as in "Reloaded"

im looking for a game that is like, the view is from above, like in gta, but not that high, you played as a man and you had a big gun, and you were trapped in some sort fo a maze, and you had to step on 4 stones to unlock the exit or something

Got this demo along with the first PlayStation for Christmas '98. Even though we have a lot of PS1 games yet the demo was still a lot of fun.

That hercules demo was immense as a 4 year old I played these demos more than other games

Ah yes, this is the demo one that came with my PS1, the 1st game i booted up was oddworld.
