It reminds me of a story about a young girl that was accused of witchcraft and condemned to burn at the stake. Although she was innocent and bore no sin in her soul, all remained deaf to her pleas. Neighbors, friends , family... Even the one she thought loved her the most, looked at her with hatred and disgust. The heart of the young woman was overwhelmed by incomprehension. Why are they ignoring her ? Why are they looking at her like this ? She never did anything wrong, she was always kind with every single one of them. She always helped and smiled whiteout any complaints. So why are they treating her like this ?! Why are you turning your back on me ? The girl asked. But no one answered. As the executor lighted her pyre , the girl cried to the skies : " I beg you ! Please hear me ! I am not guilty of the crime I am accused of. You're making a mistake ! I beg you, please don't kill me... " But once again her pleas were met with disdain, mockery and hatred. Burn the witch ! The crowd screamed. Seeing how her cries were met by her town folks, the people she knew her whole life, the girl fell into despair and from that despair, a demon was born. The fire rose high into the sky, engulfing her whole body. But she felt no pain. Quite the opposite even. She felt good. There were no more sadness, no more pain. Just a sort of peace of mind... When the flames finally died down, she stood unscathed among the ashes of her own pyre. Dressed with clothes of ashes of shadows, crowned by roses and thorns and adorned with gold and jewels, she stood above the ground, like a divine apparition. The townsfolks stayed silent as if entranced by her ethereal presence. He bare feet floating above the ground, she walked into the soon screaming crowd. Slowly one by one, they started catching fire, sharing her pain and anguish. Since they made her a witch, she decided to act like one. After this town is reduced to ashes, she will go to a next one again and again and drown the world in despair. After all, that is what witches do. Right ?

I can imagine myself trying this method against my bullies. I loved singing on my own and they found it weird I always sang to myself and would bully me for it. If I sang this song straight to their faces I bet they would be freaked out and chilled to the bone.
