This video shows the steps to generate an APK file using visual studio. Below are the main steps that you will need to follow.
1. Build your solution in Release mode
2. Archive your project
3. Create a keystore file
4. Generate APK file using keystore file.

Thanks, mate, this was superb. However I could not archive my project. I have an error saying, "The archiving process has failed. Cannot create the archive file because the packaging process failed" any idea what would that cause..
I have not come across this issue. Looks like something has to do with how your visual studio has been set up. Also following some other instructions might help too. Please follow these steps from MS docs that might help.
