thank you for the video but I am still unable to connect my phone to visual studio. I allowed USB debugging on my device (as per your video) and I also ensure that Google USB driver is installed on android SDK. What would you advise?

Is your device physically attached to your computer? If you are stuck, give us more input and we can look at it together to determine where you are stuck at. Cheers!

Generally, once you install the Google USB driver, your physical phone conncetion gets picked up. Try rebooting your computer.
