Use the beater as a parts car. Then whatever you don't use, part it out. Someone somewhere probably needs cappuccino parts. My guess is that by parting it out you will probably make more money than what you got it for.
Getting a better look at it in this video, it is definitely a parts car to grab what you need and move on. With that being said, it is absolutely full of great parts that you can use on the red Cap. Good score!
Interesting...buying a parts car that runs! Man, that blue Cap is a rust bucket but you did score some good stuff. I would seriously recommend you keeping that spare from the blue Cap even though you seem to have a complete aversion to spare tires and other sorts of needed gear for the road. You know, I think the blue Cap wheels are really sharp but too back they are missing their center caps - I like them better than those on the red Cap. Big job ahead and I see now a second video about even more rust on the blue Cap, so I gotta go watch it! Later, Gator!
My thing with spare tires is 99.9% of them are all beyond dry rotted seeing how they're over 25 years old not never used. So swapping it in incase of emergency maybe even worse if it blows up on the road. thats why I rather keep one of those foam tire fillers and space is so limited on these kei roadsters, I wouldtnt take a spare out of a kei van or normal car but every inch counts on the beat, capp and az1
Awesome man. For sure use the one for parts. What a treat seeing two shots of Cappuccino i swear lol. BTW found a left hand drive Hijet Jumbo thinking of getting it.
@@Waybeforethefame I'm not sure tbh. I just want the hook ends, to weld to my Ute's arms to replace the stupid bayonet clips I can't find good wipers for... I'll message you later today
GTFOOH WBTF! It seems a shame to part out any running Cappuccino. There's a good chance a complete dash swap wouldn't be that difficult on a kei car. It's easy on the Hijet. It's an all day job for a professional mechanic on my 4Runner (with a cracked dash). I'd swap the speedo cable too but try to keep the original odometer. There's a good chance that the induction hose on your Cappuccino ripped because it was bent down to use a different air filter, and if you swapped the other induction hose in the same application, it'd rip too. I'd 3D print a custom induction hose. I just 3D printed little mud flaps that I designed for my Hijet. They're black with bright yellow "MEEP!" along the bottom. They're so damned cute. 🙂 I'm starting to think I bought the Hijet to justify having 3D CAD and a 3D printer. Don't even think of towing anything with a kei car. They already can't accelerate their own mass fast enough that US drivers aren't on your rear bumper trying to intimidate you into going faster. If you had some storage space, you could part out the Cappuccino yourself - windows, windshield, headlights, hood.... You could triple your money if you were willing to wait to sell the parts... or use them on your THIRD Cappuccino. 😛 Body rust can be fixed. Frame rust is almost always a write off.
I don't have the time or space to part it out piece by piece. Especially in this winter weather, I hope I can sell it whole or maybe save it as a drift build
I totally get it, I'm just thinking of how much time (or money) it takes to do that kind of rust repair. You aren't into it for a lot, so I'd get what you want out of it and move on. The idea of turning into a drift car sounds expensive, especially if the motor is leakier than you think and needs to be gone through. I just hate rust.
Nick, the new Cap' is a rust bucket, parts car and parting it out after you get what you want is the best idea. That's probably serious structural rust and it would be criminal to sell it to anyone who thought about putting it back on the road. I spent years restoring British sports cars, and often bought rusty beaters for parts. I agree with @csorgb05: you'll make more parting it out than trying to sell it as a viable car.
I remember you commenting this a while back appreciate it, I don’t plan on selling this to someone to drive in the street. it’ll either be a drift car if saveable or sold complete to someone that has the time to part it out little by little. Honda Z will be here soon don’t have the time or space for a second capp
If the sills (rockers) are that bad then the floors and rear subframe mounting points will be badly corroded also. The car body is almost certainly way beyond economic repair. A Cappuccino in this condition in the UK would be stripped for spares and the body scrapped.
@@Waybeforethefame Have a look underneath the carpet where the rear bulkhead meets the floor and from underneath the car where the front of the rear subframe attaches to the body. Then you will have a better idea if the car is recoverable. Btw, enjoying your videos.

I don't have the time or energy to part it out piece by piece im hoping I can sell it complete or do something crazy with it lol
A second one!.!?!? Freaking awesome!!!
If you do end up doing a part out, keeping the hood might be a good idea in case your red one cracks again!
true true
Damn that could have been my car a year ago. 100K subs for sure would Love to see it. I think the NSX idea is golden.
100K on the way! and ya this thing is crusty
Seeing them side by side put it in such a great perspective dude
🙏🙏

Yeah your right its not worth making it road safe again
Option 2 bro! GO ALL IN
After the next video you'll change your mind lol

Make sure its not limited to 35mph!
madmax build for the content. I'll help!
LETS GO!
If you part out, I'd take the wiper arms...
Okay maybe I’ll take them off tomorrow, what are they worth?

I would swap the bonnet too
I would like to buy a carbon fiber one
@@Waybeforethefame yeah that would be great bro
Ok 2 cappuccinos, a minica, and a z is wild
Minica should be gone in 2 weeks and hopefully same with Blue Capp!

Part it out and keep the hood because the red one will unfortunately crack again.
Those style bars are extremely dangerous in a crash, They're more likely to seriously injure you, than if you had nothing.
before you do option C put it on somebody’s car lift and do a complete inspection underneath
Im scared to even look lol but if we get to that point I will for sure
I'd swap all the nicer stuff to your red one and probably part that one out. You can probably make your money back on the drivetrain.
thats what's most likely going to happen but after driving it almost 2 hours its a good driving car

Is that the hvny cap?
smart move and you got lots of content. option d part that thing out till theres nothing left. and make money off it
That’s the plan, can’t wait to get this seat out
Interior swap and drift
I want to I really do but the rust is scary
oh shit
you got k cup
now a double shot
DOUBLE SHOT OF CAPPUCCINO
lmao love it

wait till you see the next video ITS BAD@@graceno162
clean it up a stripped down drifter and sell lottery tickets / drawings for like 50 a pop
I wouldnt feel comfortable selling this Capp to anyone if they had intentions of actually driving it. Thing is sketchy lol
