    Of all of the guitar players that appear on Andertons, I have to say Pete that your playing is so melodic it just stands out from the rest. That little loop at the end of the video was brilliant.

    Pete, I am actually stunned by how good you videos are getting. What ever you have changed (and maybe it's nothing, maybe the purple amp, or you may just be in a good place right now) keep it going. Love your videos and keep them coming.

    It's a good day when TH-cam puts up older videos that I haven't seen. Lovely playing Mr. Honoré, just lovely.
    My one 'always on pedal' is my BBE Sonic Stomp, I just love it and I can't see ever turning it off.

    • @butnut3455
      @butnut3455 ปีที่แล้ว

      My BBE is my always on too. I also added a EP Boost and a AM modded Script 90 as always on. All three sit on top of my amp and into the loop. Got 14 pedals on the floor so those 3 are out of the way now. Super Sweet is looped with another EP boost and Dispatch Master for leads. A Super Sweet will be here tomorrow. Gonna squeeze it in to bump my Timmy and Plumes ODs when I need OD riffs to jump out.

    Everyone raves about the EP boost, the Super Sweet, and the SL... BUT I truly think the best of the bunch is the Super Clean - its amazing for taking "your tone" and kicking it to heavenly places you didn't think possible without losing "your sound". It a dynamics increasing monster which will throw into to hard to find places like Jeff Beck type response/dynamics which you struggle to find.
    I also had the EP boost myself for a LONG time prior to the Super Clean - and its great in its own right. But EP is about getting a specific vibe in my view rather than enhancimg your own the way the Super Clean does. The Super Clean actually replaced the EP at the front of my chain and the EP found a new home at the end of my pedal chain to provide an amazing "warm boost" - where it really shines.

    Idk how the Super Sweet hasn’t landed in ‘near legendary’ category of must have pedals. I can put this in front of my practice SS Orange Crush 30, and fool people into thinking it’s a solid tube amp.
    That amp Pete’s playing through, tho, is just unbelievable sounding. 😳

    The Super Clean Buffer and Super Sweat Boost are truly incredible pedals. Put them before an overdrive pedal and be prepared to be surprised! Crappy, thin-sounding overdrive pedals now sound full and dynamic. I'm even pulling my KOT off my pedal board because these two pedals just sound better and more full to me. Great for 50s, 60s, and 70s music - from Motown to hard rock. If you want metal or heavy distortion, then put one of these pedals before the SL Drive. OMG!

    Pete, amazing demo! I just recently got the SL Drive and have had the EP Boost and Suoer Sweet for awhile already. The SL Drive kills for stuff like Ziggy Stardust (Bowie) and Bad Company/Free stuff. You know, Marshall high gain, but it provides very articulated, well defined notes. Not a bunch of fizzy stuff, no. I even stack all 3, Ep, Sweet and SL with a Catalinbread SFT foundationOD pedal and it rocks from Stones to Bowie to even Aerosmith/Zeppelin stuff in this stack. Love the pedals. Key is to set some of their levels low and just listen for the sweet spot. Thanks so much Pete, you are an amazing player. Hope to see you out playing with your band sometime soon. 😊🎸

    Few days ago I saw the Super Clean and Super Sweet in a local store and they called my attention. This early morning I searched demos and most of them used distorted sounds where you can barely feel the difference between both and the settings. Lucky me I found your video Pete, exactly what I was looking for. Wonderful demo covering everything about these pedals and answering all my questions. The final minutes were simply epic and I wished they could be a bit longer! I think I put the TV so loud that I woke up the whole neighbourhood 😆

  • @macanoodough

    Love that lick you showed us way back when you threw thie channel up, I believe. Yet it only seems like a few videos ago.......(Sense the sarcasm?)
    But it's amazing how much you apply it to. I learned it, love it, and got some good use out of it. But even with the Super Lead, you threw it in and it was like Huh?!?!
    But that's Pete. great, great player. I love those licks that he owns and squeezes or stretches to apply to different styles of music. For me, that's what you get into an artist for, their Brand or approach to their craft. Too many players are just indiscriminate, you can't tell one from the other.
