I moved to Princeton from Garland, Tx. I think their trying to be Frisco but fall short of the mark. It’s mostly Walmart, fast food, Dollar Tree. Not much to recommend it. Their water bills are atrocious. $80 for 2 people per month with minimum water use. Using the sprinkler system it can run $200-$300 a month. Some are much higher. Hwy 380 is a death zone. You say your prayers when you have to be on 380. Unless your going to the local Walmart, anywhere else is a 15-3o min drive or longer. Other than that no matter where you live it has its flaws.

Compared to Mckinney(neighborhood) home prices are very cheaper in Princeton, any known reasons for the low price?
Also how good is the road/traffic here?
Its really a great question..so McKinney is already stabilized city already, meaning growth in population and close to toll road, I -75 and many restaurants, infrastructure already..school system high rated Schools.
So Princeton is still growing city, not much facilities as of now, considering area's, rural..
Many growth opportunities waiting..this is change to buy cheaper for now, and build equity..hope its help your question..

No university in Princeton Tx, we have Collin County communities College
The town of Princeton no longer has a small-town feel. It is already too built up with much more coming. It's not really a small-town lifestyle either because too many newcomers to town have brought their city ways with them and their in-fighting among groups of peoples. Some people get $600 water bills. The "diverse" groups that moved into Princeton are sexualizing the children so be careful with whom you associate (see, city ways). Make sure to have security and cameras because crime has increased a lot with the fast growth. Highway 380 is a very dangerous highway. When it was a small town it has grocery stores and restaurants. But now, it has too many fast food places and no real grocery store. There is Wal-Mart but it is a very bad Wal-Mart and it has too many incidents like a young man who just cut himself and bled through the store. Or, someone starting clothing on fire. The long-time residents are not being treated fairly enough. Look at how bad the roads are to drive on or walk on.

If you want crowded lines at the store ...if you can even get there with the traffic we have then I guess come on down...but seriously, it can take you 10min to go .2 of a mile...dont believe me...try it👍 fair warning if you want to move here
