In this tutorial I will show you how you can create an Old School Hip Hop style beat without sampling any records whatsoever. Using the new Logic 10.4 features such as Vintage Mellotron, Vintage EQ, Studio Strings, Studio Horns and a load more I play and process everything so the beat sounds like it has been sampled, so check it out.

I am Dr Duce and I have been using Logic as my main DAW since 1997. I started out using Cubase then switched to Logic version 2.8 on the PC then moved to the Mac platform when Emagic was bought by Apple.
