Did/do Welsh clubs have two cups that lead to European qualification? If I understood correctly, they qualified for Europe through the Welsh cup but were also competing in the FA cup? Around 10:45
The 5 Welsh clubs in the English system were able to qualify for Europe through both cups until 1992. The Welsh Premier League was formed in ‘92 which took this away from Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, Wrexham and Merthyr. However there has been talk of these sides being allowed to compete again in the Welsh Cup soon
Every club has its own history and that's of great value, but Cardiff's really is quite something!
Thoroughly enjoyed that, thanks boys \O/
11:10 love this badge I wish we'd still had it.
Excellent work boys, really enjoyed it. Particularly liked the little nod to the Warnock meme you sneaked in. 😂
Yes!! Glad it was understood 😂

Bluebirds forever...🐦🙆🐦🙆🐦🙆
They lost to Sheffield United in 1925 not Sunderland
Ohhh that's so frustrating, that's just a misspeak, we say 'The Blades' in the very next line too!! Well spotted, ta!
Thanks Rob - we’ve edited it now 👍
