I came here because 20 years later, I still remembered 8VVBB. Of all the things my childhood brain could hang on to, it would be that. I had no idea Traveler's Tales did this game however. THAT was a surprise.
Traveller's Tales did Toy Story 1, 2, Racer and Buzz Lightyear of Star Command on consoles, but I didn't know they made this version as well. The other Game Boy Toy Story games were done by Tiertex Design Studios.
@@Sykroid Yeah, they weren't the greatest British game developers. Their library mainly consists of substandard computer ports and licensed shovelware. However, they weren't entirely bad. Their output on the Master System was pretty solid (Gauntlet, Paperboy, Star Wars, and Mercs are very good games on the machine), though not without some stinkers (Strider 1 & 2). On average, the quality was higher compared to other terrible British studios (Data Design Interactive, Code Monkeys, and Asylum Entertainment Ltd.).
@@masterfarr8265they did but they were pretty small. They should’ve made them to scale with any 12 inch Buzz Lightyear figure, but they were like less than half that size, plus Mira Nova never got a toy outside of fast food promotions. They DID actually make two XR figures that are in scale with a 12 inch Buzz, but they’re pretty rare to find. I finally got one last year since the new Lightyear movie reminded me how much I missed the Star Command cartoon and XR was my favorite companion.
The first game I got for Game Boy Colour. Received this the Christmas of 2001. I remember that because I played this throughout the summer before 9/11 while on vacation with my grandparents.
Own the dreamcast version of this game, and I had NO IDEA it was also on the gameboy color. Much better than the first toy story game on GBC, but still not as good as the home console version.
@@Synonymous_Legion You're welcome! It's really a shame that such a great soundtrack has not been uploaded before. I also subscribed to your channel :)
My parents bought me this game at circuit city when i was a child, with Super Mario deluxe
Duuude I can’t make this up 🤣🤣 exact same here
Noice.
I'm sure you didn't play this one much!

TT did almost every Pixar game from 1995 to 2003

@@fictionalmediabully9830 I just looked up Tiertex Design Studios since I had never heard of them, and now I'm sad lol.

This game is awesome to play as a kid. Tons of action, health pickups, and featuring buzz lightyear. What more do you need?
how come they never made toys of the characters of this show?

Truly a legendary game.
I appreciate you playing this.
The PS1 version was my first ever PS1 game, along with Toy Story 2. I still have both.
I remember having this game and got stuck on the first level because I didn’t know how it worked
I remember playing this by my window sill never getting past the second boss.

GBC version > “console” version.
the first toy story game was on normal game boy
That was a trip down memory lane!
I remember playing this game when I was 5, definitely looks worse than I remember lol
No, it good.>:(
I hate when people say this... it looks fine for a handheld game?
They're truly degenerate simps for an incredibly trash "console" version of the game.@@Gameboy-Unboxings
I only played this game on the pc. I did not know this existed until right now.
I loved this one!
makes me wish there were 8 bit renditions of Game Audio Limited’s soundtrack from the console versions.
Fuck, the memories.
Behold, the TRUE version of the game.
I used to have that game like an 8 bit buzz lightyear game.
I'm glad I didn't force myself to beat this one.
8VVBB unlock all LEVEL no need cheat anything :) oh my god I am remember this game boy color game
I’m surprised that Traveller’s Tales was behind this game on the Game Boy Color, it could be much better but it still ok
Anyone know where I can find the music of this game?
I've uploaded the complete OST for the GBC last week :)
Best music I’ve ever heard for a game boy game!
I wonder what the level on bathyos would’ve looked like in the game boy color game
I always wondered that too
Where can I find the OST/Music to this specific version of the game?
I've uploaded the complete OST for the GBC last week :)

It was my first Gameboy game! I would like to find it again.
You can download a rom for your pc or phone. It's pretty easy:)
Not my first, but it was the first video game I was obsessed with as a kid!
