There was a very, very small dab of glue on the front and back of the handle. Be careful when you use your Trika rod(s) - I had a Tatula reel and almost launched it with the Trika the first time the handle came loose…

I bought two of those Trika rods, I will be taking a closer look at the components now.

You need to get rid of this rod and go with Kistler rods, they are awesome.
