Everytime I hear this, I picture the ground crew prepping the aircraft. Hooking up the fuel hoses, driving the weapon tractors, ratcheting the bombs to the racks as fast as possible, loading the cannon, removing the safeties, warming up the engines, all before the pilot arrives.
It almost feels like they synced the drop to electric guitars with how long it usually takes someone to choose a plane and gear, as I often had it come on just in time with the aircraft prep complete segment.
AC has always been really good at timing music to the beats of the gameplay... a lot of AC music is perfectly timed so you lock up the first target just as the heroic music kicks in for example(Charge Assault)
@@trainknut A bit late to the party, but Glacial Skies from AC Zero is perfectly timed to the cutscene ending and the player being given control as well as the first enemies.

The way the soundtrack slowly builds as the Gracemeria wing takes off and forms up to defend the city, mastercraft in tension building. And then when the cutscene ends and the Gracemeria theme kicks in just as you lock up the first enemies. God it's SO GOOD.
This music makes me feel atmosphere of Ace Combat 04. Especially on trumpet section and on some ambience. I love this nostalgic feel. Anyone feels it too?

WRONG! 444th is more run down that this one. New Arrows is an OFFICIAL air base like the Fort Grays hangar. The 444th air base is nothing but a fake air base that doesn't even look like an actual air base at all, and that's why they call the 444th Air Base a decoy.
