I don't really know what to say other than this goes SUPER hard and I love it! I also like how the FDS channel here gives the cover a bit of a Genesis quality to it when it's for the melody in the first half of the track.
I've never actually heard the entire original song in the game when i play, mainly because i absolutely destroy Queen Sectonia with the Hammer Ability before i can hear the rest of the song. Anyway, Amazing work!
I was trying to do this same song with VRC7 and it sounded awful lol, glad someone could make it work Although it sounds strangely tuned?? Almost like the key is somewhere between A and A#? Idk
I think they did some sort of fine pitch adjustment, if you look at the calculated notes on the right based on their frequency most of them are off by 40-ish cents.
How have I not heard this before? This sounds great! It's also interesting how the organ kinda sounds like a brass section here. Also, dunno if this was intentional or not, but in the original, the organ notes at 1:39 have a more upbeat-sounding timing than in the first part of the song, and you omitted that in this cover. It still sounds great, though.

This carries the tone of the Sectonia fight way better than the actual version of Sullied Grace imo
