We haven't and it's because racism still exists and this country has to tell cops when a guy like George Floyd was screaming I can't breathe that one statement proved that racism still exists in this country

Phil Donohue was the best. It seems nobody learned from the Watts riots of 1965.

That's the kicker, no one ever will. The music and times may change. The outcome never has. It won't, not in this life.

Many don't know how L.A. was in 1992. Not much different today really except more Mexicans than before.

"The situation has gotten far worse, not better." - I agree 100% Police brutality is an accepted form of immediate justice, even in extreme cases like this. It not only points out the sick, and twisted mentality of brainwashed police, but it also points out the sick, and twisted mentality of a brainwashed American population that accepts this kind of law enforcement tactic, but also condones, justifies, and rewards the police by giving them more weapons and legal latitude to continue.

I lived in LA at the time. There were FOUR Black boys in that car but they all followed police commands and were not beaten. That's why you don't know their names. Rodney King was high as balls that night and led the police on a high speed chase through LA up into the valley where the car gave out. The police tried to subdue him peacefully but he kept resisting and throwing them off. That's when they dog piled him and that's when the video starts. The curfew and marshall law lasted four days. I was the only Black person at my job since everyone else lived in South Central which was locked down when the riots started. Then when they came back told me I was in no danger since I lived around white people. (Hollywood) Then proceeded to trade all the stolen stuff they got during the looting. The Rooftop Koreans were real. They were not having it. Then years later Rodney King died of a drug overdose in his own pool at his own house, bought with the money he won from the LAPD. And for this he was put in Black History books. I still have PTSD from this event. Just because you saw a few seconds of video doesn't mean that's the whole truth.

Sadly this problem is even more relevant today then it was 27 years ago. I’m very aware that I have white prevelege but I have friends of color and it angers me seeing the crap they deal with every day. I’m transgender, bisexual and I have a minor disability. So while I don’t cope with racial discrimination, I do have feel the sting of hate when it comes to my gender identity, sexual orientation and disability. What I guess I am trying to get across is that hate and intolerance is something that needs to be dealt with and eliminated by means of education, compassion, understanding, empathy and self reflection

Any judge that allows any hearing, trial or be found guilty is without a shadow of a doubt extremely BIAS, no judge that hasn't abandoned his neutrality would allow this case to proceed after watching this video of the beating.

It's ridiculous no one would stand for this happening to any other race, but like I say below its meant to be this way.

2:54-4:39 A-FUCKING-MEN. Anyone who can watch that minute and a half without getting pissed is racist to the bone. Its so sad that this is 20 something years later (I was 9 or so, it is a vague memory) and we still can't have an honest discussion about this is ludicrous. We have (and still have) a MAJOR race problem in this country, and we haven't begun to talk about it. And I say that as a white guy brought up in lilly-white new england my entire life.

I'm learning about some of the politics of Russia right now. In America, we were always taught the Russians are the "Bad Guys", but we never really understood why. Until now, I never understood the Bolshevik revolution, and how communism came to be in Russia. Russia, just like America, and all of Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, and wherever else you can think of, got fucked over by the Zionist bankers, who created German Nazism, as well as the Bolsheviks. Cops are nothing compared to bankers.
