Your journals are amazing. I love watching all of your videos. I think it’s wonderful that you’re making journals and recording your life’s milestones. You will be leaving your children something very special that they will always be able to remember you by. Not only your children but your grandchild you may have some day as well as great grand children and so on. You’ve inspired me to try and make some journals as well even tho all my children are grown I want to make at least 7 of them 5 for my children and for now 2 for my granddaughters. Maybe I can make more I’m hoping to have more grand babies one day. Hopefully I can make them as beautiful as yours. I love your videos and will be waiting for more to come. Have a blessed day. Sincerely Tara from the back woods of Kentucky USA.
Hi Johanna, I love your two Christmas journals and what a lovely idea to make a big journal for yourself to record the memories of Christmas. You will have a great book to look back on in years to come. Have a wonderful Christmas and looking forward to seeing more from you next year. Blessings Chrissie x
That's beautiful and is going to hold a lot of happy Christmas memories! :) So pretty! I love the one that is going to go in your etsy shop too. Thanks for sharing! :) ♡
Awesome books! I love the big book. I have a couple of questions...if i may. How do you do the full size pages....like to sew them in? I realize this is 6 yrs ago, but i would like your take on how you put full size pages in your junk journals. Also, how do you make those big envelopes? I love them. I love everything....lol Your journals are always so well put together. Like all the pages just flow....
your journal is amazing it coincidently has the elements i asked for for instance the music paper and the coffee dyed paper ofcourse its stunning well done
Hi, I know this one is old but beautiful journal !! How did you attach those 2 big envelopes? Since they both turn like a page. Do you assemble the envelop after it’s sewn into the journal?
I know how to fold sheets of copy paper in half ti make signatures. But how do you attach what seems to be FULL sized sheets? Example: page 2 And how did you attach the white envelope which was page 16. (about 3 pages past the pretty floral envelope that holds your mother's invitation). I want to make some larger journals but I don't know how to attach regular sized sheets of paper.
Love ur big journal I would love to make one that size but not sure how todo the signatures pages meaning the book looks like 8x11 most paper is 8x11 I'm confused thanks in advance
Hi Johanna! I just found this video today and wow did this come out amazing! How much have you filled it with so far? I have a question about your lined paper, how big was that paper that you could add it in portrait style in your signatures? I don't know what Australia's most widely used paper size is, A4 or 8.5x11? But it looks like you have two pieces attached seamlessly together or like one wide sheet that is stitched in the middle. Lol am I making sense? I am wording this terribly, Im sorry. The reason I ask is I would like to put lined paper in a junk journal for large entries, but I don't know how to do that for signatures in a larger book. I know I could attach them with washi or something, but I'd like them to be part of the signatures like you have them arranged.
I love these! Really cute ideasq for storing Christmas memories. I know this is a silly question but how do you keep those Christmas card pockets in the books?
Thank you! Not a silly question! The cards are bound into the middle of a signature open, and once they're bound in i stick them together to create the pocket. Hope that's what you mean!
Johanna at 6.07 you have a Christmas card pocket and I can't fathom how you put it in the signature🤦🏼♀️ would you be a sweetie and let me know. Thanks 🙏
When she sews her signature bundle the card is open. She then glued the sides afterwards ...is the only way I can see it. I’m baffled about the two big envelopes and how those are sewed in. Because it flips like a page. I’m thinking it was an open unassembled envelope
+521LakeStreet i think i said an 'old book', i'm so sorry! I murmured a lot in my early videos 😂 making videos was very scary and I was almost whispering, and very monotone.... Hahaha X
I love both sizes! Also, I think that when you ladies are recording videos, you notice every sound, and it really bothers you. Yes, it was noticeable, but it didn't last long. I relate it to when my children were little and acted up in church; it wasn't as distracting as I thought it to be. Love your videos and your journals. TFS
