Interpretation of someone else's music is the true litmus test of a musicians knowledge and skillset as a player. This guy can play. And at the end of the day that's what the game really is. Being able to 'play' with your instrument. Some get it. Most don't. But when you see and or hear it there's no mistaking it. Real mastery and ease of performing on display here.

I've watched this many times and it just blows me away how well he stays behind it and in the pocket. No over playing and nice funky syncopation with the left hand. The improv was subtle and again not overindulgent. Perfect. Just perfect.
Everytime I play a (good) Rhodes VST in my DAW, I think: "Yeah this is funky! I love the rawness". And then I hear the real deal and get reminded that the hardware is always superior. This sounds so incredible. Love it.

Sly that's exactly the thing though, playing daily will get you here. I've been playing bass guitar for 6 years but haven't played anywhere near daily. And because of that, there are two year players that can play circles around me because they put in daily time into their craft.
Kraz3e987 I obviously know that, it's just obvious, work hard and get rewarded for it, do something without giving it your all and you'll get half of what you could've gotten
@@spoderman15 having adhd doesnt have anything to do with playing piano. I got it too and im the best of my class. Musicality is in ur genes tho, i know many people who have also played 10 years and have not come far.
