My wonderful 75lb bringle bulldog "Buford" passed away last Friday. Ruben was my inspiration for getting him and he was the best dog our family ever had. Stinky farts, wrinkles, shedding and all. We're heart broken since he passed suddenly from a stroke. Enjoy Ruben a long as you can, he's the same age as Buford was at 8.5 yrs old. They're the sweetest dogs.
I'm so sorry for your loss, I lost my Rocco 10 weeks ago, he was 9 years & 4 months, the vet also thinks he had a stroke, it just all happened so sudden. It still cry every day. I'm so sorry I feel your pain 💔 it's just so sad that they pass so young 😭 love the name Buford. ..RIP 🌈

As the years have gone by, Reuben's vocabulary has grown exponentially. He understands at minimum 70% of what you two generally say when talking to each other. When you are talking to him, he understands 99% or more. I sometimes re-watch the videos of when he was 2 to 5 years old, and what used to be trial and error has become an immense understanding of the English language!! Reuben is so intelligent that he's sometimes scary! If the SHTF, I believe that the POTUS has a secret underground bunker to fulfill his every need and want. He could be valuable to the CIA, DIA, NSA, SS, and the FBI. He'd appear as just an agent's pet out for his walks; but AHA!!! He could translate many languages just by noting the bad people's body language. Be extra careful that the enemies's spies don't entice him to defect: all it'd take is to bring back the infamous crack patties!!😂❤
