We were Blessed😊and still are .Listened to live pundits chanting in Arosa with 35 ministers ,all before lunch which I cooked! Those were balmy days .I was 18. 2 weeks before Maharishi brought half of Seelisberg to join us in magic of A higher realm all in a tiny Swiss village. It was the first time I spoke with Maharishi in front of everyone.🎉

I truly love this. I graduated from MIU in 1980. We listened to this very Sama Vega recording every day in the domes and at night right before retiring (to sleep) during the "forest academy" month long mediation classes. Hearing this has brought back memories of the blissful living at MIU. I miss the many Maharishi videos where he expounded beautiful Vedic Teachings! They were the foundation of my years of spiritual pursuit. Jai Guru Dev

.thanks for the trip down memory lane. I too enjoyed listening to this in the dome around 1982. I had the best program on campus (MA in Ed.) and had one of the best times of my life. Still flying via Vitual Dome and plan on returning to the safety of Fairfield from L.A. before the summer. Praying the solar flares won't be too bad. JGD Mike

Lovely to hear this old recording. Reminds me of bed time on all the old rounding courses. Maharishi was a great teacher and bought all of this to us westerners back in the 1970s. Still do my TM twice a day over 40 years on.

Was listening to this as a student at MIU way back in like 1983 just before getting into bed. Fell asleep, then was kind of lucid and could see my room with my eyes closed. I thought that was pretty amazing!
Then I heard this ringing sound and the sound of something like cellophane unraveling. My ball of consciousness simultaneously started slowly floating up out of the physical location of my head to a point about 4 feet above my body. I looked over at the dresser and automatically and gracefully, floated over to it, turned around and saw my body underneath the covers.
I thought, "I'm out of my body! Can I get back in???!!!" I know I was pretty freaked out at that point and I immediately shot back into my body, sat up and was completely and utterly astonished.
For the first time in my current life, I had completely separated from my body!
Into the following morning and day, I had the most amazing feeling of freedom and unboundedness; as though the knots that had held my soul so tightly into my body were now completely loosened and I was no longer -- a jailed being within the confines of such a limited space -- as the human body!
Amazing! All the meditation I was doing at the time really ignited this amazing experience I had from listening to the Sama Veda chanting. A *major* turning point in my then, very young life!

1979. Twice as I laid in bed in the men's dorm I left my body. I remember going North from Fairfield flying above yellow fields below along the lonesome 2 lane highway. I made it to a T intersection and turned around with some thought of the body. Then I realized I could go as fast as I wanted and was instantly back to the campus and snapped back into my body waking me.

    • @LeeSanulav

Super-Radiance according to MMY creates the effect from N squared. Number of Sidhas yogic flying together is squared--but the Sidhas come and practice together. If you ever did program with 1500 other Sidhas in the Golden Dome you would observe a clear experience of Sat Chit Ananda in the atmosphere of the building. Awakened in the air itself....
Once in the silence after the program I perceived the gentle sound of the Veda --in---the---silence. @@hackmyworldnow

I helped build the golden Domes. Good times, enlightened times. They had sheets over the windows because the glass hadn't come in yet. I was on security during the program and used to enjoy seeing shadows of people's heads on the sheets bouncing up and down. Some people would cry or yell out things like they had Tourette Syndrome. But the feeling was love. I hadn't taken the siddhis program yet. When we reached the square root of 1% of the US population, around 1500 meditators practicing together, I felt a paradigm shift. I was meditating in the campus church and I discovered the fabric of reality, where the 'gap' exists between the manifest and the unmanifest. Another day I 'cognized' the Siddhis sutras which came at me like 64 little boxes of knowledge, sort of like the cases you put VCR tapes in. Maharishi was a powerful influence on my life but takes 2nd place spiritually to the Anointed One of God.

Listened to this Sama Veda chanting after each TM Sidhi Program. On very low volume, lying down, eyes closed, for 10 minutes only. Still have a numbered cassette tape, but nothing to play it on. @Lehmann Peters - Yes, that WPA was incredible! The aromas of sandlewood incense & basmati rice still linger...Southwest's dining courtyard filled with quiet after lunch/dinner strollers was a rare scene to behold. I was a member of a fairly large class learning the Sidhi techniques during that WPA. Although a fan of RLJ, I don't recall being aware of that Ricky Lee Jones concert or of any disruption in our scheduled meetings. Maybe our class had separate meetings? To have experienced that WPA was a gift, indeed. Thanks for sharing.

@@Kosac07 I don't even remember what I said I don't even remember what you're replying to but I know about the psalm of Veda and yeah you can experience flying around in your dreams afterwards and stuff you can call that going out of your body if you want. You know I used to have dreams or experiences of sleeping 2 in away from the ceiling my nose 2 in away from the ceiling wake up and my nose is 2 inches away from the ceiling. You know these are all side effects kind of stuff no big deal you know they're not encouraged in transcendental Meditation . They're byproducts of it and you know there's plenty of information about this with the calm abiding shamatha meditation practices. Waking up and growing up it doesn't have anything to do with going out of your body or conjuring up powers. Even though in the TM movement they taught the sidhis. You know just a little bit of that experience it's kind of like making a phone call and someone answers and now you know but you don't need to keep making the same phone call over and over and over because it's not the point. The sidhis aren't the point either. There's enough of this stuff that people can actually come to understand that they're definitely are other dimensions in realities that aren't understood and aren't experienced even the vast majority of people. If they did experience them at some point they would probably be encouraged to continue a daily meditation practice of calm abiding. Including being here now with whatever is as it is without having some need to fly around or go out of my body.

Yup. Play it all night long. As an orchestra playing in my mind while asleep but fully aware. Studied with Maharishi in first tchr train course 1970.ad all advanced techniques and some maharishi didn’t teach, available in Panatela . But I was awake from birth. Maharishi simply made it easier not to try, but didn’t get everything right. 7 states of CSC he got right. Live it every day. But he didn’t invent it. And only gave 1 name for Saraswati mantra, stopped teaching night technique, etc. i studied psychoanalysis with Keith Richards mentor. Who told me I should be my own guru. So decided o be happy guru, dharma teach. Only if y really understand meaning of akasha and didn’t waste time flying through the air and got bad knees. Theres much more than akasha in patanjali.

Eat of it and don't neglect your IXth and Xth Mandalas, I think MMY knew what he was doing, myself.

And Im an advanced martial artist, all based on no-mind. Can do yoga,Chigong stretches feel very much like hatha yoga.
Control of the body, strength and endurance and all siddhis wake up ctrs of self actualization which refine perception to CC/Gc and flashes of Universal Csc.

The Mujawwad of 114 suras was inspired by Sama Veda

Ivartshiva question: do you remember why sidhas read 9th and 10th mandala of Vedas after program? I have them, I read them after Sama BUT why?

9th mandala is for soma , 10th is for absolute transcendence.
Finest relative ,devas and then pure consciousness.

  • @annapurna9435
    @annapurna9435 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Yes. Many memories 🙏
However, the chanting seems to be very fast. Today's Maharishi pundits would chant it much slower. 'Low and slow was Maharishis instruction. Jai Guru Dev 🙏

I wonder if it's true that they are intentionally singing at a slightly wobbling(?) pitch (differing even from each other) to create an interference pattern. Seem to recall having read something like that over 40 years ago. - kaayaakaashayoH saMbandha-saMyamaal laghu-tuula-samaapattesh caakaasha-gamanam. 😉 - Greetings from Finland, from a Sanskrit freak!
