VERY helpful video! - even without narration. I liked how clearly you showed each part, what to use it for and how to mount it. The tips for using a drill chuck to install the stud and for how to set the proper tool height were also very simple and practical. Well done! Thank you!
I have this tool post and I would NEVER go back to the old style!

Seems very intetesting. Height adjustment is a great feature. I have used old machines without height adjustment and it takes sometimes a lot of time to find suitable filler plates under the blade.
I bought a couple blocks 5 of them none were egual in size , but a bit machining and it all works perfectly , bought some dixon blocks , same story with measurements.
Hello my friend, I have the same QCTP for more than a year, and it's an excellent product, but am worry about this little delicate movable wedge-gibs just in case that will broke, where I can get it as a spare part. If you have any idea who may provide this... Thanks for the nice video.
Thanks a lot for Your video! I'm just heading for the same stuff to my ordered mini Laith. Not knowing enough I have bought a set of tool holders that is one size smaller than the QCTP You show. Now buying the -001, -002 of the proper kind.
Hi the original castle of my lathe measures on the base 63mm x 63mm and banggood can't tell me if the qctp 250-000 fits my lathe do you believe that this model fits around me or should it be another model ???
I just got mine today, I got mine from Discount_machine off of Ebay. My OXA model (for mini) was about $122 shipped. I know there are cheaper ones and I believe they are the same maker but some have had issue's with the attachments being the right size but I haven't seen anyone saying that about the Shars brand that Discount sells.
This just might be one of the best videos for the begining enthusiast. Thank you!
oooh. That height adjustment trick with the strip. That's awesome.
I have been searching for hours trying to find what the tool post and tool holder numbers were. You did it PERFECTLY, Thank you 🙏 Michael 🇦🇺
