I was ecstatic to see your new album release a few days ago, and after listening to it for the first time today I can say I was not disappointed. It flows beautifully between each song and floats me down the tracklist like a wading river, your signature style seeping in through the cracks in the rocks and mingling with fine tides of experimentation. I love Stubborn Man most out of every song on the album. I've listened to this ambling down the road to my mailbox in a soft spring breeze, feeling every sway in the tune and the tenderness of the season. It's truly a delight. Thank you for putting your heart into such sweet songs, I appreciate the work and I appreciate you. I hope that you are well and that there are many more fine ideas brewing in your head for music. Have a good night :)
I relate so much to this song... see myself as stubborn and strong-willed, deep listener of my feelings. Have gotten hurt so much for this, but that's my narrow mind, is mine alone.
It’s much more cohesive than Familiars too. I love Peter returning to his In the Attic and Hospice roots. Cohesive chord progression throughout but he plays around with the motifs so well throughout the album
LYRICS: "I'm a stubborn man with a fickle plan Given lots of thought, but no attention span I can change my mind, turn on a dime I can strike me down at anytime I'm the only one who can get it done Gotta finish this now that I've begun 'Cause I'm the only guy qualified To fix me up and ossify Maybe I'm strong-willed Settled at a standstill Maybe I'm headstrong Iffy, but rarely wrong Talk to me without the need To make your case, to make me see My overgrown comfort zone My narrow mind is mine alone Maybe I'm strong-willed Settled at a standstill Maybe I'm headstrong Iffy, but rarely wrong Maybe I'm strong-willed Settled at a standstill Maybe I'm headstrong Iffy, but rarely wrong"
Beautiful song and a great album! Congratulations!! Also, I´ve enjoyed the video very much: my wife is the person who always cuts my hair and has reminded me of those moments of intimacy :-)
Listened to the whole album and what a journey it gave me.
I think this is my favourite song from the album, not sure why, it just grants a feeling I can't explain
Maybe I’m stronggggg-willed…
Such a solid chorus.

LYRICS:
"I'm a stubborn man with a fickle plan
Given lots of thought, but no attention span
I can change my mind, turn on a dime
I can strike me down at anytime
I'm the only one who can get it done
Gotta finish this now that I've begun
'Cause I'm the only guy qualified
To fix me up and ossify
Maybe I'm strong-willed
Settled at a standstill
Maybe I'm headstrong
Iffy, but rarely wrong
Talk to me without the need
To make your case, to make me see
My overgrown comfort zone
My narrow mind is mine alone
Maybe I'm strong-willed
Settled at a standstill
Maybe I'm headstrong
Iffy, but rarely wrong
Maybe I'm strong-willed
Settled at a standstill
Maybe I'm headstrong
Iffy, but rarely wrong"

Album rules. Track rules. Video rules. You all rule. Thanks.
Don't talk to Mr. Madonia
Don't talk to Ms. Camacho
Don't talk to nobody
Talk to me
