Myfaction gameplay is pretty dope. Or at least I really like it. What I absolutely despise of the mode is that it's clearly designed to make you pay more money. The rewards don't match the cost of cards/packs in the store and buying a Summerslam or MITB card pack will come with cards included in the PLE pack, and in the superstar series packs as well. With repeating cards that only give you a handful of currency

Just the existence of Fight Forever alone is pretty much yet another example of the company's downfall, See, AEW Games obviously had no earthly idea what kind of game they were trying to make because the inclusion of all sorts of features that nobody ever once asked for to begin with, combined with their attempt to turn what should be a pure grappler video game into a Mario Party/Fortnite hybrid with a pro wrestling setting just goes to show they didn't even want Fight Forever to succeed. Like, why the fuck would you go among acts as to put minigames *in a wrestling game?* And if that was bad enough already, the plot of the so-called Road to Elite career mode, if you can even call it that at all, is so scribbled all over the place to the point that the mode doesn't even know what the hell it even wants to be. As for the creation suite? Even the first WWF SmackDown! game that released *two whole decades ago for the PS1* gave you way more creativity compared to Fight Forever. And don't even get me started on the gameplay. Sure Kenny Omega and co. "brought back the AKI engine..." except the game hardly even plays a thing like how any AKI player remembered it. Even the WWE games on the GameCube, especially the Day of Reckoning duology, did a HELL OF A LOT better replicating the gameplay of an AKI title than Fight Forever, and those games were made *without the involvement of AKI Corporation!!!* The pinning system is a joke, because anytime you're in a cover, it's pretty much an automatic loss because no matter how fast you try to mash your buttons to kick out, your character will almost never make any attempt at all to get his/her shoulders up unless God himself shines a light down on you from the stratosphere. And if that ain't bad enough already, the enitre game represented the PREVIOUS era and not the current one. Not to mention, you can't even have the option to *WIN A MATCH BY FUCKING KNOCK OUT!!!!* Like, the reason I enable knockouts in most of the wrestling games that I play is because it's one of the ways I can prevent my fights from dragging on for too damn long. Yeah, Fight Forever is that broken, and nothing can change that.
And bring back the my player tree for my rise from 2k19. They should merge create a story with classic mode and superstar mode, with the inclusion of promos. I'd love to see a Hardy boyz showcase of we ever see them return
Last two games they either released new free superstars (like Michin on WWE 2K23), or alternate characters (King Booker, Nikki Cross, etc on WWE 2K22). So I guess it might be some new superstars, and why not Wyatt 6? Most of them are already in the game, under a different gimmick/ character, they would pretty much just add Erick Rowan. And since we have a lot of different versions of Bray Wyatt, it makes me hopeful that they actually release the Wyatt 6 as free DLC.
I wish what they would do for the Perosna Cards is a DLC "Persona Pack", so for like $20, you could basically just unlock the different variations and attires of WWE superstars that they have on there. Which I promise you, would make them WAY more money than having to buy VC for outrages prices just to unlock a card to plsy to unlock a variation that expires like 4 days after being announced
If they planning doing a new aew game PLEASE give them more time to work on it. Fight Forever didn’t have much time as it should’ve had and the pandemic didn’t help. I just hope the next aew game is actually good

That should be a pre order bonus for 2K25. If you pre order the game you get a code to unlock all persona cards in 2K24. It’s kind of cheap but it wouldn’t be a bad idea since they’re gonna be done with the game anyway
I wonder how the game could be if the people behind Mortal Kombat got the rights. It is a Warner Bros. owned company. So, moving AEW over there could be a good move. Also, the potential crossovers with MK and AEW could be fun and interest players to try the game. Ps: A Wyatt Sicks Pack would be a nice surprise or a Spooky Pack with wrestlers that are a little bizarre or scary. I'm excited to see what is coming.
By this point, and learning more of what goes behind the scenes of Fight Forever, I now think AEW Games should have a second chance of making a new game and hopefully it would go better than FF. Because no way in hell should they consider giving up console for mobile, especially since it's only the first hurdle 'cus now with further knowledge and self-awareness, they could bounce back from that! All I'd desire for the new AEW game is more wrestlers with a diverse roster (Main eventers, upper and mid carders, and maybe some jobbers to help the wrestlers gain more wins), more match types, better creation suite, and most importantly for me, a PPV/Universe Mode. Also maybe revamp the career mode to be more like the Season Mode from the PSX Smackdown! series.
What held Fight Forever down to me was the Create a Wrestler with the Limitation of stuff to use and how we couldnt use certain things if something else was equiped.

100% MyFaction content you'll need other cards for that are super hard to obtain. I was extremely lucky to get the JBL card to fight Debut Cena in JUST 2 PACKS but i'm not pushing it with this. Should've saved my luck for it.
Personally, I'd rather that AEW actually plan things out. If the first year or so is what we're supposed to expect - especially with how new wrestlers got added incredibly slowly, (seemed like a literal definition of drip-feeding), then why should we have any of the project managers from AEW go back again? Unless AEW tell Yuke's, "No, we need more wrestlers in packs more often, and a consistent season pass," then I'd rather see a new project manager. Whoever was behind the creative process of the minigames needs to never do that again. Whoever looked at the small amount of parts in the creation suite at launch and said, "Yeah that looks great" should never be in that position. Plus the lack of cross-platform really destroyed my interest right from the start
If there is a new secret dlc between now and WCW pack, then It's more than likely it'll be Halloween related. Quite possibly featuring alt attires of the new day or something like that, I'm pretty sure the Wyatt Sicks won't be in the game until the release of 2k25. While it is possible that they could save Uncle howdy '24 for my faction I'm pretty sure 2K is looking at the backlash from the DLC date announcements and are currently making a new DLC for in between just so they can save face and say they released something in between. #getridofmyfailure
I am officially done with 2K, I will play2K24 one last time when the WCW pack drops, since I paid for it when I made the dumb decision of pre ordering the Deluxe Edition of the game, but that's it! I, for the second time in what felt like two weeks, lost my entire save files for the game. I am ready to defend 2K by saying last time might be my mistake for not updating my save files after the 1.19 Update (which I shouldn't even have to do myself, but whatever). But this time I inserted the play disc, the game kinda installed/updated itself (even though it's already been on the console) and then greeted my with the fucking "Welcome to WWE 2K24, do you wanna play the Tutorial"- shit that pops when you initially start the game and honestly: I am at a point where I don't even care to find out why anymore. I remember me and my brother absolutely loving playing SvR 2010 on the Nintendo Wii (which honestly has been the best shit I've ever played, nothing came close to it any more in terms of Wrestling games), when we where like 13 or 14 years old... Nowadays it's all just "Here's a new, gamebreaking update which adds nothing but some dumb ass persona card event for MyFucktion". What a shame... but hey: At least Yuke's and 2K both shit the bag equally bad. Who knows, maybe FF2 will actually be a good wrestling game again after AEW wisely dropped Yuke's, but atm I honestly can't believe it will be...
Fight Forever’s problem wasn’t Yukes. The problem was AEW talent getting too involved. Omega had no business around the development and neither did Edward’s. She worked on freaking scribble naughts. Sure she was a game dev for years, but scribblenaughts? That’s no experience to have say in a wrestling game. And Omega is a gamer, but to think because he loved No Mercy that it’s enough experience to be heavily involved. What a joke. Yikes needed time to build a game from scratch and AEW needed to STFU and stop saying it was gonna be all these different things that it wasn’t.
The sucky thing for me is I have the game on PS5 and for whatever reason my saved data for the game disappeared so I had to start all over again and I entered the the recent code in my faction and it said that I got it but it didn't show a picture of the pack and it wasn't in my unopened packs section so I didn't get anything at all and I entered the code and once we get near 2K 25 they should give everyone all the persona cards for free in my opinion so nobody has to spend so much money for them.
I really like Yukes and felt FF wasnt necessarily a bad game. Im just confused as to why it cost so much to make and of that had more to do with licensing and likeness?
If they don't Brock lesnar as playable I'm gonna be done with 2k. If he can be mentioned on TV then he should be playable. We lost 4 versions of him this years game. AEW fight forever was in development for 3 years and that's what they gave fans ????? WOW. I hope if there is a new game developer for AEW then they improve the whole console game. I dislike my faction and wish 2K would just remove it once and for all. My faction is the biggest money grab ever.. Once the servers are down, not a single card will be accessible . It should instantly unlock the my persona cards for everyone who ownes the game. It's the only thing in my faction we give a Damm about. The more they do this, the less of a new creation suit we can expect .
Unless they plan on fixing the bugs currently in the game, I feel like these DLCs and updates are pointless. I have no interest in playing the game with the current eye-glitch in the Superstar creation suite
AEW FF is a great base. Just leave out the mini games and focus the wrestling. A few tweaks to gameplay and more content and we'll have a great game. A story mode resembling No Mercy and HCTP would be awesome too. AEW story mode had some good points but was mostly just ok
@SmackTalks I think AEW should go with spike Chung soft if they made a new console game but if they did I think they should at least keep Cody Rhodes and his kingdom theme in the new aew game because I think it truly would not be an aew game without Cody Rhodes
I pre ordered the elite Edition of AEW fight forever and boy do i regret it .... The game is absolute 💩 .... I fought so hard to get a refund but since i bought it on the PlayStation store and i ran the game there was nothing I could do .... I'm m never wasting my money on a AEW game again ......

Personally, I'd rather that AEW actually plan things out. If the first year or so is what we're supposed to expect - especially with how new wrestlers got added incredibly slowly, (seemed like a literal definition of drip-feeding), then why should we have any of the project managers from AEW go back again? Unless AEW tell Yuke's, "No, we need more wrestlers in packs more often, and a consistent season pass," then I'd rather see a new project manager. Whoever was behind the creative process of the minigames needs to never do that again. Whoever looked at the small amount of parts in the creation suite at launch and said, "Yeah that looks great" should never be in that position. Plus the lack of cross-platform really destroyed my interest right from the start

If there is a new secret dlc between now and WCW pack, then It's more than likely it'll be Halloween related. Quite possibly featuring alt attires of the new day or something like that, I'm pretty sure the Wyatt Sicks won't be in the game until the release of 2k25.
While it is possible that they could save Uncle howdy '24 for my faction I'm pretty sure 2K is looking at the backlash from the DLC date announcements and are currently making a new DLC for in between just so they can save face and say they released something in between.

I am officially done with 2K, I will play2K24 one last time when the WCW pack drops, since I paid for it when I made the dumb decision of pre ordering the Deluxe Edition of the game, but that's it! I, for the second time in what felt like two weeks, lost my entire save files for the game. I am ready to defend 2K by saying last time might be my mistake for not updating my save files after the 1.19 Update (which I shouldn't even have to do myself, but whatever). But this time I inserted the play disc, the game kinda installed/updated itself (even though it's already been on the console) and then greeted my with the fucking "Welcome to WWE 2K24, do you wanna play the Tutorial"- shit that pops when you initially start the game and honestly: I am at a point where I don't even care to find out why anymore. I remember me and my brother absolutely loving playing SvR 2010 on the Nintendo Wii (which honestly has been the best shit I've ever played, nothing came close to it any more in terms of Wrestling games), when we where like 13 or 14 years old... Nowadays it's all just "Here's a new, gamebreaking update which adds nothing but some dumb ass persona card event for MyFucktion". What a shame... but hey: At least Yuke's and 2K both shit the bag equally bad. Who knows, maybe FF2 will actually be a good wrestling game again after AEW wisely dropped Yuke's, but atm I honestly can't believe it will be...

Fight Forever’s problem wasn’t Yukes. The problem was AEW talent getting too involved. Omega had no business around the development and neither did Edward’s.
She worked on freaking scribble naughts. Sure she was a game dev for years, but scribblenaughts? That’s no experience to have say in a wrestling game.
And Omega is a gamer, but to think because he loved No Mercy that it’s enough experience to be heavily involved. What a joke.
Yikes needed time to build a game from scratch and AEW needed to STFU and stop saying it was gonna be all these different things that it wasn’t.
The locker code have me Tozowa... I'm not paying for persona cards so there went my opportunity at getting one 🤷
The sucky thing for me is I have the game on PS5 and for whatever reason my saved data for the game disappeared so I had to start all over again and I entered the the recent code in my faction and it said that I got it but it didn't show a picture of the pack and it wasn't in my unopened packs section so I didn't get anything at all and I entered the code and once we get near 2K 25 they should give everyone all the persona cards for free in my opinion so nobody has to spend so much money for them.
I really like Yukes and felt FF wasnt necessarily a bad game. Im just confused as to why it cost so much to make and of that had more to do with licensing and likeness?

If they don't Brock lesnar as playable I'm gonna be done with 2k. If he can be mentioned on TV then he should be playable. We lost 4 versions of him this years game. Meaning we lost 4 playable characters that sucks. And we have so many locked people behind myfaction. I haven't been able to get a single one. This game mode blows. I don't want to grind away in myfaction. If they want people to play it then make it fun. It sucks...

My locker code glitch and didn't give me a pack..I reentered the code and said it been used...smh
I redeemed the locker code and I got no new pack. When I tried to redeem it again, it says I already redeemed it
how can locker codes work you key in the code, 'Code is redeemed' blank screen follows, or it says you must have an active connection to go online what gives 2k

For an AEW game to be good, Kenny Omega shouldn't be involved. If he is, the developer won't matter because he knows nothing about game development.
AEW FF is a great base. Just leave out the mini games and focus the wrestling. A few tweaks to gameplay and more content and we'll have a great game.
A story mode resembling No Mercy and HCTP would be awesome too. AEW story mode had some good points but was mostly just ok
