2015 Nobel Lectures in Physiology or Medicine

The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 2015 was awarded with one half jointly to William C. Campbell and Satoshi Ōmura for their discoveries concerning a novel therapy against infections caused by roundworm parasites and the other half to Youyou Tu for her discoveries concerning a novel therapy against Malaria.

I regret that we did not get to benefit from an English translation from the Mandarin - I would SO much have appreciated hearing the wise words of a scientist representing the traditional Chinese medicine sector . . .
I thought we had been told that a translation was to follow her speech.

Dr Campbell we are proud of you in Rathmelton and Donegal, if only the authorities introduced ivermecin for early use in presenr pandemic, many tens of thousands would have been helped. Its errectiveness in India Mexico,south Africa etc is undeniable.
