My children go to school around 7:30 every day Monday to Friday by walk. It just takes 5 minutes to get to school because the school is near my house.
Great! The only thing I would change is “..walk to school…” then you can remove “by walk” at the end. It’ll make everything perfect ☺️

Can I ask you a question please?
Why we use the phrasal verb in English alot?😢 As new speakers, we sometimes get confused. Thank you very much Kat and Mark
Textbook English and naturally spoken conversation can be different 🥲🥲 I know it’s hard but it’s great to listen to our classes because we use natural language nice and slowly so you can learn them step by step ☺️
Of course I follow you and very much enjoy your lessons❤️🥰🤩
I have a question, so what does it mean "to go to work at 8:00"? Does it mean I just leave the house at 8am or I'm at work already by this time 8am? A little bit confused about it
Great question!
It's common to use "go to work" when we leave our house.
I go to work at 8 means I leave my home at 8.
but it can also mean that we are finally on the way to work:
I took the kids to school and now I'm going to work. (I'm at my kid's school, and now I'm going to work)
Get to work means arrive at work.
Hope that helps!
@@highlevellistening Thank you so much! Your answer really helped😊

I basically take the bus at 9 o,clock near my house,so I get to work early.
Great sentences! Well done 👏
Hi. I take the 7 o'clock bus near my house. Why We don't talk at with proposition. for example l take the *at* 7 o'clock bus near my house
Great question! Here we use 7 o’clock as an adjective, which bus? The 7 o’clock bus, the red bus, the number 8 bus.
Thank you all l like the lesson topic interesting 👍
