I liked a lot that the way that you teach english. I’m from Brasil and I’m living in Massachusetts in the last five years. The English that I learned was using TH-cam and interacting with natives. Congratulations! English method of teach is great!
I really like that you use very common words and phrases that I hear in real life. It’s not like a textbook. I really appreciate you 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 let’s next time would be about “ how order food and drink at the restaurants and some bars on vacation” for example 😅
Hi Teachers!!! U are awesome!! Thank you!!! I wonder if you can add some more complex structures ( may be 1 or 2) as I am preparing a C1 exam and I would like to improve my english skills!!! Thank you!!!
Thanks so much for being here with us! We generally try to give the most authentic and real-life phrases that we can, and with some topics (like Making Plans), we don't use very complex phrases. If we do talk about a more complicated topic in the future, we will be sure to label in C1 and let our students know.
Hi there! I am really amazed with the way you teach ❤️also with the simple vocabulary you use in order to make sure that everybody gets it! I just subscribed in your channel cause a friend of mine told me that I'd love a lot!! And as a matter of fact, I am!!! By the way I am an huge fan of UK accent!
Amazing session once again, thanks for this 🙏 I have a question to ask, would you please illustrate the concept of until and unless. I'm confused in this.
Hello - good question! - "Until" is used to refer to a time before something happens. For example: "You can't leave until the meeting is over." It means you have to stay until that point. - "Unless" is a conditional word meaning "except if." For instance: "You won't pass the test unless you study." This means studying is a requirement to pass. So, until focuses on time, while unless introduces a condition. Hope that helps! 😊
Thank you for this lesson. I have a question. Why do we use “ let’s go do smth” but “let’s try TO do smth”? What is a rule? Can we say “let’s go hiking”? Or we have to say “Let’s go hike?”
Good question! You can use both phrases to make plans, but one sounds more excited than the other. If you are excited for your plan, use: "Let's go do smth." - Let's go hiking tomorrow! 😃 - Let's go have coffee this afternoon! 😃 - Let's go watch a movie tomorrow. 😃 If you don't know the exact time you want to meet, use: "Let's try to + do something." - Let's try to meet up next week some time. - Let's try to have a coffee later this week. - Let's try to watch a movie some time this evening. You can also use the Gerund (verb+ing) sometimes because it connects to "Go." [go swimming] : Let's go swimming [go cycling] : Let's go cycling This isn't always correct though. If it doesn't connect with 'go', use "[for a noun]" ❌ - Let's go drinking coffee : Let's go [for a coffee] 👍 ❌ - Let's go catching up : Let's go [for a catch up]. 👍 Hope that helps!
A quick question: My listening skills are very good, and my speaking and reading skills are somewhat acceptable, but my writing is so bad that I can only write simple words. My question is: How can I improve my writing skill easily and quickly? Thank you ♥️
Hi there! Good question, when I teach my students writing, we do a lot of repetition and drills. You can take 1 simple sentence and practice writing it several times until you can do it quickly. Then we keep the same grammar structure and change a few words and write it again. After several tries, you'll start to remember the structure and simply insert the ideas you need into that structure. You'll start typing faster and adapting the sentence more quickly the more often you do it. You can use ChatGPT to help you as well! Hope that helps!
Thank you, Teachers ❤❤❤❤❤

Great dialogues! ❤❤❤ Is it OK to ask like How about tonight over at mine? I'm not quite sure about "tonight" for the closest evening.
Absolutely! I’d say
How about this evening over at mine or
How about tonight out at ours/mine
Both work ☺️
I 'm going to my uncle's house this weekends
