Tiago, nesse caso do vídeo, não seria melhor tirar o botão de dentro do relativelayout? ou seja, transformar um único elemento desse arquivo?

Se for um item de lista só com 1 botão sim :-) Agora se precisar de mais componentes, precisa manter o ViewGroup principal
