wow, Brabus its a time machine for old cars. i keep one W140 since 1993 with only 6.000 kms, but one day i have to buy an old car and send to Brabus to make full restoration.

I personally think that '00 cl500 is too "common" and young, like you said for restoration, im sure you can find parts somewhere, and do it all by yourself (engine cleanup,new leather,new gearbox etc.), or find some mechanic that will do it for you for some amount of money. I mean cheapest Brabus classics are Pagodas, and they are like 285k $ :/ Don't get me wrong, im not saying that your car is cheap or something, but there is probably some *car restoration place* in your county that you can go to. But question is "is it really worth it?"
Labor is valuable, deserving not only for such big brands but also forgotten classics. For example, a car that deserves the best in that car with a 2 cylinder and 2 stroke engine. You are obviously trying to prove and evaluate Mercedesi but there are some cars. Cars with a much more important history than these cars, but they're not as flashy as Mercedes, apparently just money fans here. I will prove those cars in a short time and I will always be against injustice because those cars are much more special than these.
