    A beautiful family home, what a great place to grow up! The bedrooms were awesome as was the top floor. I think the microwave covered in trees and ivy made such a powerful statement! I do often wonder where the families from these abandoned homes went? So sad to see the places all decayed and Lonely. I really enjoyed this explore. Another fabulous Monday evening!! Thank you Sam and Jess!! Xx

    Wow, crazy house, what a mystery, it's usually something to do with finance and debt when people disappear like that, they used to call it a moonlight flit. I bought a house years ago with one of those plastic showers, it was absolutely vile, mine was maroon, it was one of the first things I got rid of. Very much a 70's house. Thank you, lovely explore.

    Do you do records search on the address of the home for the name(s)? And then search for the people to see if there was any tragedies…. Just wondering

    • @jcv096
      @jcv096 2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Exactly what I was wondering. Surely there would be items in the house with names, there are license plates, etc. I couldn't leave it alone until I knew it all LOL I love researching and going down the rabbit holes!

    The dressers in the 80's bedrooms are from the late 1940 or earlier; the large wardrobe on metal legs with mirrors in first bedroom is from the late 1950's, my childhood.

    There's something about this place that just isn't right. Some of it seems staged, other parts look like things have just been strewn about. There are too many personal effects that have just been left behind.

    That kitchen is what you call nature taking back its rightful place. I always heard people say how a house dies once it is abandoned and it is so very true. As long as people live in it, a house is very much 'alive' but once people are gone, it 'dies' a slow death as nature moves back in and devours it. I love all your videos, btw!

    • @pamelascott3383
      @pamelascott3383 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just wanted to say when you talked about dust getting in your throat and how it made it feel dry, you should consider wearing masks in houses like this that are small and more closed up. Not only dust but, most important, mold spores are emitted into the air and especially true with the amount of mold I saw. Some of those walls were nothing but mold. Definitely not good to breathe! Stay safe!

    Guys when entering abandon homes with belongings in them, please be mindful and respectful. Using terms like “weird” “ bathroom of hell” presents how one has no sympathy or the slightest compassion for the home and people. Respect is important when entering these homes.
    Have no idea what can attach.
    Just some friendly advice.

Who wouldn’t have wanted one of those great bedrooms or the fabulous attic space? My imagination is running wild on what might have happened to them, I would love to know. Wow after watching this video I just had to subscribe. I got a very eerie sick kinda feeling like something really bad happened to them. Why else would they leave such an amazing place? Especially when you have 7 kids! Glad I came across yous. Coming from a Grandmother in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada Thank yous!
