You literally just saved me so much heartache thinking I was about to have to be gripping the hell out of my short little hair !! Thank you soooo much for this !!
Honestly, these videos are answered prayers. I've been trying to figure out how to maintain my hair from style to style (locs and braids), snf your videos have been some of my go-tos. Thank you again, sis. This is really helpful.
I cut my hair into a pixie in January and totally didn't think about the growing-it-back process. It's too short for longer styles...and its too long for shorter styles. This video is perfect. I have that locbooster too. Let me go separate this hair. LOL Thank you for this perfect ACTUALLY SHORT HAIR tutorial. 🥳 Update: I found it easier to do the first piece crochet, but trying to put a perpendicular piece was very difficult. Found the braid down easier. I'm a beginner who has never done her own box braids and this helped make it so easy. Just have to work on my tucking next.
Omg thank you so much! My hair is so short in the front I had no idea what I was doing, spent hours trying and getting upset because I couldn’t figure out what to do! You’re a genius ❤️🔥💯
Thank you!!!! I cut my hair short months ago and I want braids now but nobody will do my hair unless 4 inches or longer so just going to do them myself 💚
This is what I'm thinking of doing too, I'd love a mix of blonde and pink 😍 💗 I didn't realise there was such a method on such sort Hair ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ I cannot wait for my hair to grow out that bit longer now as a have a buzz cut at the back ❤ xxx
I’m so happy I found this video! I’ve been wanting to do braids again but it’s so expensive so I wanted to see if I could do it myself, this method and being able to add the other strand perpendicular will save my fingers and hopefully be easier to do. My hair is short and I miss having longer hair.
You make this look so simple!! My hair is relaxed but it’s growing out from a pixie cut and I couldn’t figure out how to box braid the shorter hair I have in the back. Thanks so much for this!!!
Yes! Thank you for this! I’ve had longer hair for years and recently cut it all down. The only way I’ve ever done my braids is through the rubber band method, but watching this with shorter hair just gave me the reaffirmation I needed 😭💜
Thanks for the video. I cut my hair below the breast natural hair Jan 2023 to a short pixie. I needed a change. Now i want to grow it out. I want to get braids and know it will be expensive. I learned i can do it on my own with your help, yayyyy.
Thank you so much for this video 😭 not only do I have short hair but this is also going to be my first time doing braids myself. Last time I had box braids was in 2021 and I loved them just the person that did them didn’t do it right. Now that I have an example that’s easy I’m confident to do it myself and not have someone else do it. So thank you so much 😊💕
New subbie! You literally have the same type of hair as me. I’ve been trying to be patient with my natural hair journey but THIS is something I will be trying soon.
Omg thank you because I had to chop off my hair because it was extremely damaged and now it’s full enough and long enough to do this. Thank you so much for this tip ❤️
I love this! Thank you! And thank you for zooming in! I couldn't follow many other tutorials because their hands were blocking the braid, the camera was too far away, or the hair color was so dark I couldn't see.
Girrrllllll you are LIFESAVER!! Not too long I tried do them myself and having short wavy hair and within hrs the braids were falling off 😒 I will definitely be trying this way next 🤩🤩🤩
I am going to be so much better to put my braids in my fine, sparse, short and thin caucasian hair, you are so beautiful, before and after the braids, you are gorgeous ❤
I just had a baby and I'm not trying to spend a whole bunch of money to get me any braids everywhere I call it's like $250 or $100 so this will save me a lot of money thank you
Same. I just had a baby, too, and I'm not trying to pay someone that amount of money to get my hair done. I can do it myself when that money can go on my infant/ other kids on a budget.
I don’t have a crochet pen, just me and my old-school hands lol I’m sure I can improvise something. I really haven’t been trying to do this for three weeks.
Ou girl im so mad at you 😂 Ive watched this 6 times the past 2 weeks and im just mindblown at how easy it is with how you do it. Like my slow mind easily grasps the way you teach it. So i shall try this week. Fingerwaves arè too much of a workout baby 😢 i need a break
You literally just saved me so much heartache thinking I was about to have to be gripping the hell out of my short little hair !! Thank you soooo much for this !!
YESSS I NEEDED THIS!! I’m a biracial girlie and I wasn’t raised around my black folks so this is my first time 💜💜💜

Mine too my parts are dangerously big and far apart 😂
@@jamdtono right be giving boneless😂
@liyahflair fr! I had to ask my mom to part my hair! Because my parts aren’t ever straight! 😂
Thank you for saving me. Now I don’t have to look like a middle school gym teacher with my twa.

Finally someone with my hair type and current length! 👍🏽🙌🏽😂☺️

I want to do this but I’m worried the rubber band would burst and the braid will fall out…is that a possibility? Did that happen to u?
I am going to be so much better to put my braids in my fine, sparse, short and thin caucasian hair, you are so beautiful, before and after the braids, you are gorgeous ❤
Well done❤❤❤
Inches on em sis.! The growth is real
Just wondering how you were able to make all your parts straight for the rubber band part? Did you use a mirror?
Love it
