I have been doing my own (mediocre) box braids for almost 2 years. Something about this really made sense ...in such a different way. I just took one down just to try this method and immediately noticed the difference in grip and how the root lays. Wild! I appreciate you sharing this video with us.
Great tutorial. Im a student in school living on campus and this helps a lot. I’m not financially able to consistently go to hair salons. Especially for box braids. I’m gonna try this

I was freaking out because after 3 weeks some of my braids are becoming messy and loose so I had to re-plat some of them but the pre stretched hair completely came out, so I jumped onto TH-cam and it saved me!! If It didn’t work I would’ve taken the whole hair out! Thank you!! X
