That winter arc thing is so real, it feels like there’s a pressure to push and be the very best to start off the new year on the right foot. And you’re absolutely right, especially as the year comes to an end it’s important to give ourselves grace and be present because it’s such a crazy time. At the same time, I’m looking forward and excited to the new goals and resolutions I set for the new year.
I support this message...as a therapist and recovering perfectionist, learning to set realistic expectations has been a game changer...taking off the pressure and allowing myself to enjoy the moment and not assign an outcome or end goal to all the things I do.
