    solution for the "foundation probably wouldn't let it go public" issue- depending on how heavy SCP-729 is, you could use that one tree SCP to duplicate it and offer it as a paid 'procedure' and then erase the memories of the subjects and say that the 'procedure' was a success.

    Of course they would never let it out. They have SCPs that are 100% befitting that they keep under lock and key away from everyone. The endless water, endless pizza, potato sack, ect so many SCPs that could solve so many problems but they don't care.
    By the way that redacted part used to not be. There was a lot of nasty comments about it so the mods redacted it. And if you want to know well it was babies. Ya the tub counted kids inside woman as should not be.

    If it kills you, why is it under "safe" classification?

    • @KainaX122
      @KainaX122 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's what I'm wondering!!

    • @filipferencak2717
      @filipferencak2717 7 ปีที่แล้ว +37

      Because it is easy to contain.
      Safe = easy to contain, euclid = slightly unpredictable leading to harder containment and keter = hard to contain.
      It has nothing to do with how dangerous the object is, but how difficult it is to contain.

    • @KainaX122
      @KainaX122 7 ปีที่แล้ว +20

      Filip Ferenčak Well, here's the definitions off the official wiki:
      *Safe*-class objects are those anomalies that are either sufficiently understood that they are now completely and reliably contained on a permanent basis or otherwise do not trigger their anomalous effects unless intentionally activated. However, this does not mean that handling or activating it does not pose a threat, and personnel are to be reminded that all Special Containment Procedures and safety protocols are to be observed at all times.
      *Euclid*-class objects are anomalies that are either insufficiently understood or inherently unpredictable, such that reliable containment is not always possible, but do not pose sufficient threat to qualify for Keter classification. The vast majority of anomalies cataloged and contained by the Foundation are initially classified as Euclid until they are either sufficiently understood or exhibit sufficient danger to qualify for reclassification. In particular, any anomaly that exhibits autonomy, sentience and/or sapience is generally classified a Euclid-class entity at minimum, due to the inherent unpredictability of an object that can act or think on its own.
      A *Keter* classification indicates that not only is this subject capable of inflicting devastating harm to human life and civilization, but that containment protocols must be extensive, involved, and precisely followed in order to prevent it from doing so.
      So it looks like both are a contributing factor

    • @bellknight3310
      @bellknight3310 7 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Classification is not how safe it is, if an item is "safe" it means that the foundation can just lock it up and forget about it.

    • @KainaX122
      @KainaX122 7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      King FireDragon Again, knowledge on how the SCP works goes into how it's classified. Danger is a factor as well but 'safe' usually means you have to WANT it's effects to activate for it to do anything

  • @Sayoko-Von-Silve
    @Sayoko-Von-Silve 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hmm, Interesting. I suspect that the Trauma induced by bathing in the water during cancer or other foreign element's removal could easily be devastating to the physical structure of ones body, and is probably the primary reason this is not regularly used to heal the injured. My suspicion is also that the Pill SCP that 'heals anything' also counteracts cancer anyway - though its a very limited commodity.

      +Ghoul 17 SCP is an acronym for both "Special Containment Procedures," or the instructions for the containment of anomalous objects, and the motto of the Foundation: "Secure, Contain, Protect". Essentially the process of creating new objects for the site involves more than just a submission.
      From what I've heard, there's a bit of a lengthy process. The content of the article is essentially up to the writer to decide. However, the article in question needs to follow the writing rules, making sure the pacing and tone of the article fits the foundation standards. For example, using consistent measurement systems and correct grammar/spelling. There is also a critiquing process where the users can point out any flaws in the article and vote on it.
      A word of advice: If you choose to try your hand at writing, don't write one about any reality-warpers or Mary Sue's. They don't take too kindly to those.
