Just bought 5 StrikeKing Hybrid Hunter Jr's. In different colors. I am always in ponds with grass. But, That's a good thing! I love the Strike King KVD 1.5 Sexy Shad color squarebill crank has just out produced anything else I fish. The other bait a Z-man Original Chatterbait in CHARTREUSE and White skirt. Using a Pearl white swimbait trailer dyed with Spike-it garlic in CHARTREUSE. Both outstanding baits. 👏 Shawn.
Rapala made a version of this bait in the early 90s w the same bill. It's not new. Just a redo. I like it.
Shad Rap with the down turned bill. Caught hundreds of smallies. Fishing a Rip Rap dam. Bouncing the Shad Rap off the rocks. But the lip didn't last one day of fishing. Give it a try. Hard to find to buy. Shawn.
Z, you’re so right about this bait being hard to find in any stores. I just received mine from Amazon today. Can’t wait to try mine out. Only could find chartreuse with black back. I have square bills in that color combo. The bass around like that color for me.

I was fortunate enough to find one of these on Tackle Warehouse, albeit a junior version. Still looking forward to using it when the weather abides in the NE.
I ordered a few hybrid hunters in January from tackle warehouse and they are still on backorder until the end of this month. I need them to get here!!

When I retire from work if I make it that long I think I’m gonna move to Texas great show Z I bought some smaller crank baits like that from Japan like three years ago and I found that in cold water the fish really love them
I took my family to choke Canyon and my son's and I were fishing, my oldest had a gator chasing his red and white bobber, is I caught my pb. It was a 6 1/2 foot gator on a fishing combo.

I’ve caught largemouth on thundercrickets vertically fishing it next to the boat in less than 10 feet of water. On video too.

That lake has been screwed. I remember we used to have 20 boats on a Saturday down there. Not for the last few years
@@chanceehuiet that sucks. I’m in Missouri and as soon as covid there was more boats at lake of the Ozarks and table rock then I have ever seen. Also all the tournaments us weekend warriors don’t stand a chance.

Ok.. Shit..you have been sponsored by g.loomis...daiwa...and now lews....please compare the kvd rods to the rest...im a g.loomis cuatom built rod guy...i feel without a doubt...$99.00.
