You went all out on the closeups of the mineralization. You captured light reflection of small crystals twinkling like stars. I like it a lot! Sulfides of many metals. Fe, Ag, Pb, Cu to name a few. Nice camera for 1080p on my display.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for the close up shots of the heavily mineralized chamber.! Adds a much appreciated dimension to the mine exploring for us geologists In the audience. That chamber was a treasure chest of minerals.
As always, these videos of yours just seem to fly by and end too soon! I loved the creative name for the narrow drift: "Velveeta cheese drift." It just doesn't get any better than that!
For those that don't know, the spitter cord connects to fuse ignitors that lights the safety fuse. You only have to light the spitter cord it then lights all other fuses in the round. A old safety and delay system.
I've read from several sources how water circulates around a plume of hot subsurface magma dissolving minerals and redepositing then in a sequence of copper, lead, zinc near the surface as the water cools and the pressure decreases. What I haven't heard explained is how the entire periodic table is deposited in a chamber like you visited. What a magical place.
I've been enjoying your efforts for around 6/7 years and I have a small request.would it be possible to do an ASMR video just walking through a mine (maybe with some text pointing out interesting points). No problem if it would take too much time to sort out, there's just something calming about the crunch of the boots on the floor (for me at least).cheers and keep exploring sir.
A very nice explore, after the first entrance looking down i thought there was a body lying around it looked just like a leg with a foot on it lol and a nice boombox at the end. Looked like there was a lot more downstairs 😀
Incredible mineralization for sure. The old buildings always make me think of the miners and the lives they lived. Yer sure getting popular with the feds there J. The helo chasing you around is a sure sign they love ya.
Did you find a Gnome hideout? In the 1960's my friend's big brother (Donald Carter) died exploring a Nevada mine. I never knew he was interested until after.....
@@TVRExploring It was a long time ago and I lost track of her 40 years ago. All I remember is how hard it was to have his body flown back to LA from rural Nevada.
Defenetely an interesting trip in this mine! Do you know what kind of mineralization down there? The way they mined it is pretty looking for a short mine!
After watching several years of his videos, if he is taking samples he's very secretive about it. The general M.O. is that he takes videos, not samples.
Had one as a kid. Western Fence/Spiny Lizard, or variation. Blue belly gets brighter when they warm up. Mine was injured by predator before I caught it so had only one eye and a gimpy front leg. It lived well for a couple years on meal worms and other bugs. Name was "Popeye". Ha ha.
That nicotine coloured water looks like a sulphur pool (sulphuric acid), we see very similar here in the UK when there are sulphur rich mineral formations
@@jacka5676 What does Border Patrol actually do these days? Did one of our new southern friends call and report himself lost, then ask them for a ride to the bus station?
I'd be tempted to dig in that rubble if the box full of pristine fuse cord etc was still there, I highly doubt many people have found that spot..wonder whst could be buried there.
It’s surprising that the second mine had such extensive tunneling but almost no stopes or winzes. I imagine the areas that were plugged were where the stopes were
It is hard to believe that they got all the minerals out of that one chamber. I know that the old miners were pretty good at taking the good stuff and the mine shows evidence of later visits by geologists, but it just can't be that colorful and be low grade ore???? But, what do I know, not a geologist either.
Even though the BLM is a US organization? Surely we can allow our friends across the pond to make a few jokes at our expense? We certainly deserve it, to some extent. If you can’t laugh at yourself, you have no right to laugh at anyone else, I say.

Your sort of making this one up. Neither the BLM or the Forrest Service would be involved in law enforcement operations using Airbus H125's against mine explorers. Both the BLM and Forrest Service contract with commercial helicopter companies, whose pilots are not piece officer certified (allowed to carry firearm). Only DHS/CBP operate the H125, with pilots who are trained law enforcement officers.
I hope that you're playing along with the joke and are not being serious... Of course I was making that up. It was a joke! Did you not hear the automatic weapons fire? As far as I know, the Forest Service and BLM are not machine gunning mine explorers yet. Again, it was a joke.
Would really like it if you could state what was being mined in each place you visit, kind of fundamental to understanding what we’re seeing, love the vids but am always really frustrated to not know what they were chasing..🤦♂️😆👍

thank again for a great walk through.....always look forward to watching
Why'd that helo sound like it was firing a .50 cal?!
LoL guess they're taking Stay Out/Stay Alive a little bit too seriously!!
The video of the chopper was from along way out.
I couldn't tell, did it have rocket pods or just door guns ?
They where out doing maneuvers
Awesome!

@33:45 I suspect that was food storage. Partially underground to keep things cool. Be strange to have explosive storage so close to that fire pit.

Wow!
What does the assay and geological reports say about this mine?
18:28 Oh you know Jeff Williams would be in there with a pallet of sampling bags and a jackhammer!
So weird to see the box with fuse cord and blasting caps like that!

what the noise that starts @18:23 it sounds like clicking
Auto focus mechanism?
Hey. What kind of mine was this? Like what was taken out? Gold silver or just different types of minerals
That information is always in the description below the video.
@13:30 there are two objects on the ground that look like flashlights. Any ideas?
Another one @14:37
Did you change you mic set up? the last few videos have back round noise that I've never heard in the past.
It sounds like crickets at night. When he zoom in real close
The building behind the cabin is a root seller not for expensive storage
They sell roots?
That car looks dry has potential 🧐 bullet holes make ya feel like a mobster you could say it was al capones 😂
I would love to go exploring with you
I'd be tempted to dig in that rubble if the box full of pristine fuse cord etc was still there, I highly doubt many people have found that spot..wonder whst could be buried there.
The last place you showed looks like a food storage shed with the pipe coming in and that close to the house
There used to be rail in the left adit. I'm guessing they moved it to the right hand side that caved in.
If they put track in that skinny drift it'll have to be HO gauge.
It would've been really funny if someone did that as a joke.
What were those pigs shooting at?
It’s surprising that the second mine had such extensive tunneling but almost no stopes or winzes. I imagine the areas that were plugged were where the stopes were
Spending way too much time on the minerals.,
Couldn’t resist 😮 they definitely are beautiful to look at!
Thanks for show n tell.
What is the blue mineral? See that in alot in these mines
He said copper
The yellows I'm seeing: Sulfur or Iron oxide?
Where is this!? I never ask but need to know
That small outbuilding could have been an icehouse for food storage.
What type of mine was this? Ore wise that is.
That information is always in the description below the video.
What about the buried box??????
Unfortunately, I had to edit that part out to avoid running afoul of the TH-cam overlords.
I clicked so fast
Yes you did
Those ore bins do not just fall down nor do the cabins!
You should take a black light with you. I have a feeling that chamber would have been even more 'psychedelic'.
It's clear that it's got copper and other sophide mineralogy.
