Hello and great to see you both combating these issues together, I had my MVA in 1980 leaving me a T6 Incomplete break, I was 18 at the time. With little to no information on sex and or intimacy in general we were largely left to blunder through life, affecting males and females alike. I have since experimented with all manner of sexual matters, medication, positions, communities, and life coaching with Tantric Sex. But still, I find the dating game is littered with stereotypes and bigotry based on misconceptions. So thank you both for your effort to enlighten both people with disabilities and the wider population.

I’m glad you are an open couple about your sexual life. You made this an educational video. I remember seeing another interabled couple and they were angry at commenters for asking questions related to their sex life (Sabia and Loren). The human mind is curious. Some people don’t mean to be rude.

Really appreciate this conversation. My partner didn’t find any tablets worked properly so we have moved onto the injections. They do work more reliably but the worry of the erection lasting dangerously wrong has been an issue. We have become far more creative and both realise that sex isn’t all about an erection. Especially if ejaculation isn’t possible.
We're glad you found it helpful! Thanks for the info about the injections. Sex is definitely more than just intercourse (but having that option is nice)! Ejaculation is possible for a large percentage of men with SCI (but not necessarily through intercourse). We are planning to make a video about this soon.
We have tried numerous options but 8 years post injury he still hasn’t been able to achieve ejaculation. We have spoken to lots of medical professionals and other sci men and sadly it’s very common not to be able to ejaculate. If you make a video please ensure you make this clear so people don’t just think they’re unusual or partners don’t think it could happen if they just tried other things.

I used to use trimix and it worked great. But at some point I realized that a penis pump and ring were much cheaper and worked just as well lol. Plus I can just take the ring off after we're done. With trimix, the erection is stuck there for 3-4 hours! And you're only supposed to use it every other night. There are definitely ways to be intimate without intercourse too. One of my partners in college was also paralyzed and we just made out and did nipple stimulation. We tried PIV once and managed to make it work but neither of us could feel it so we switched to 69'ing which worked way better.

I’ve really appreciated your candor. This will sound stupid. I can still walk, so I thought my ED was from the pain of mentally worried about the possibility of the increase pain with pelvic thrust. That’s why I thought it was in my head (as in brain, you dirty minded people). Even laying flat on my back and my wife doing all of the work, in many ways, it still didn’t care. Delete this if it violates any rules. My tongue works fine and I enjoy using it (it’s always been an arousal for me and obviously her. However, she wants intercourse. Because I didn’t think it’s physical, I never talked to my doctor. I will next visit.
Sildenafil, or Viagara, can be bad if you use it and you have heart issues...or a C4 injury, which affects the heart beat...so discussing it (many people will go and try it based on your talking about it...just wanted them to know it may not be the best thing).

Now almost 50yrs old and a father of 2, I got paralyzed as a teenager and lost sexual function. I'm not 100% sure of this but I do believe that masturbation helped me regain function.
This isn't really our specialty, but some men with spina bifida can have children! It probably depends more on the specific person and injury, since everyone is different
