    I live in Florida and have hard water and had a sprinkler break near my black truck. I used this and removed 99% of the iron staining.

    This spray works perfect,i had those little dots on my paint that are hard to get off. I just parked next to a carwash sprayed it on then after 3-4 minutes went in carwash and my paint was looking cleaner than ever 😃

    I dont do reviews.. I tried to go on amazon to review this product but they dont even sell it so I'm gonna do it here. Long story short.. rode my brakes on my g37xS months past being done... rust and rail dust ALL OVER every last inch of my black car. Sat like that for probably half a year.
    Tried eagle 1 black and plastidip stuff.. barely made a dent in the iron particles. Turned purple and shit.. but didnt remove much. I found this spray and the meguires wheel cleaner with the iron remover and used them back to back. 2 foot sections with the clay spray, clean, dry, then the wheel cleaner product. These 2 things saved my car. I thought she was destroyed. I was pricing wraps.. paint jobs.. dipping the entire car... absolutely amazed and cant endorse it enough. Doing the 2 passes though, one with each product definitely helped.. but man.. my car was toast. This absolutely brought it back from death.

    This stuff is great. Most detailers start with an iron cleaning and then move on to the clay. This combines both and saves a lot of time.

      I appreciate that I simply can't justify paying $20 for a bottle that will only last me 1 maybe 2 cars when I can pay $40-50 for a gallon that will last me 10-15 cars. Thats why in my opinion they are marketing it for the weekend warriors or enthusiasts.

    Thanks for the review. I was in a hurry, went to auto zone and misread the label as well thinking it was the Meguiars version of Iron X from CarPro but I regretted purchasing it because I came to the same conclusion you said at the end. Overpriced, no profit, okay but not great product.

    You’ll find the top level guys use this type of product only as an all in one clay lube and iron remover to save time on cars that don’t have heavy contamination. They never use this as a straight iron remover following those directions. That’s what iron X is for when dealing with a neglected car. The best method would be to apply this to one panel, wait about 30 seconds, then clay that panel after a short dwell time. This will save you several minutes on the decontamination process when dealing with better kept paint work.

    • @YettiAutoDetailing
      @YettiAutoDetailing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I appreciate the advice but I've found that I can use an iron remover between the pre rinse and wash stage then clay as I perform the contact wash using the soap as a dedicated clay lube. Saves both time and money as I don't need to buy a clay lube.

  • @btbd2785
    @btbd2785 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    So if it'd meant to be a 2 in one then technically you can remove the oxide while claying it as well.

    Kudos for admitting your mistake publicly. But PLEASE tell my you never REALLY assumed that a chemical SPRAY would take the place of a MECHANICAL removal of bonded contaminants? Please. And just in case you do know F111 isnt going to "coat" a vehicle either right? Just cause they say they will.

      I would honestly just buy a bottle of Eagle one black and plasti coat or Meguiars Ultimate Wheel Cleaner. They are half the price and work just the same. You should be good with the iron remover alone I wouldn't clay it as you run the risk of micro marring the paint.

    My advice would be to pass on this stuff. Buy a few bottles of Ultimate Wheel Cleaner for 1/3 the price and get a small pump sprayer. Your hands will thank you and it will go on easier, quicker, evenly, and save product/money. Then clay using a traditional lubricant that you don’t have to rinse off your paint every 3 minutes or that will start to ruin your clay. Hard pass on this stuff as it adds unnecessary steps and is too expensive for what it is when there’s better options out there for less. IMO They should be apologizing. 😂

  • @pitis2flie
