Bombas socks are great! The company gives away a pair of socks for free every time they sell a pair. This is by far the best pantry haul I have seen, and it’s really nice to see how grateful you are for everything. Take care.

When I was still working full time I would go to my local Kroger's and Shop their mark down meat and markdown grocery aisle and donate to a food pantry when I quit working in May of 2020 I started going to a food pantry all this food is very much appreciated. I also have been helping for 6 years at a local church food pantry.

The canned beef is good just heated up in pot. Add water and a little bit of grated carrot then add noodles. Yummy beef noodle soup. It also good made into vegetable beef soup. You will only need 1 can for the three of you.
These videos humble me bringing me back to when I was a little kid and went to food banks with my mom. It’s oddly comforting to remember “where I came from”.

I would love to see the meals you put together. I also watch the Frugal Fit Mom videos. When I was on a very limited budget a few years ago, I ate mostly beans and rice or anything potato I could make from a 10# pound sack of russet potatoes. At least Covid made one thing easier, I remember when we had to go, it was a long wait in a human chain, and we were treated pretty shabbily, sadly, this can happen to anyone, remember that, and when you do have a little extra give to your local area food banks and pantries, God Bless you and your family.
Very true. I remember how crazy everything was in the beginning. Praying that those who need help are able to get the help they need. Oh I definitely agree with you. I am going to donate some meats and fresh veggies to the local pantry that use to help us out, because they lack in those items. I'm also donating to a bigger city near me that has an outdoor self serve pantry. I am so thankful to God and for all those who have helped us out. Thank you for the advice. Take care and God Bless.❤
We are blessed here and I give to food pantries as often as I see an opportunity. I never realized how many people were in need of help since the beginning of this year. I am SO happy you have plenty of staples to help you and your family. God Bless and be well.

Bombas advertises they give shelters, etc a pair of socks for every pair purchased...very good company policy...you can use the elbow macaroni in the tomato soup...or even with the chili to stretch it...

Bombas are an international company that makes socks. For every pair of bombas socks that they sell they donate one pair of the black socks to homeless and food shelters. Great charity with over 31 million socks currently donated

Food pantries are great. I go to one locally to help make ends meet. Looks like you got a good haul. Bomba socks are nice and comfortable. They have nice and thick ones also that good for winter.

You know that you can freeze milk if needed. Just leave headroom for expansion, defrost in fridge and shake before serving. Tastes great.

What a great food Haul. I've never seen the refried beans in a pouch like that that's so cool. I'm going to see if I can find them around here. We get those socks at our place too and that company is great for every pair of socks that's bought they donate a pair. It's a great company policy the stocks are very nice. Oh the sausage patties are so good especially in the morning with eggs. That's a nice amount of strawberries. You can totally hear how grateful you are for it, wow that's an amazing blessing for your family.

hey there have you heard of Frugal Fit Mom? She has done a couple of extreme budget challenges, one where she showed the meal plan and meals she cooked with food pantry staples (She volunteered at a food bank and then purchased the equivalent items at a Walmart as an example). You could do a similar video with a meal plan timeline for using up your items?

I love food pantry chicken breast patties they are so tender I was happy when I got those this month. I’m sure the strips are so good as well. We’ve been making wraps out of them.

How often do you get food pantry? How long is this to last?
@@lindahoover1540 HI there! I was receiving food once a month from the food bank. There are some places that will allow you to go once a week, from my understanding. I am no longer needing to utilize this help, as my spouse and I were able to get back on our feet.

THE canned beef is good in soup. Or even a casserole like a beef noodle casserole. It's already really soft because it's been canned so if you put it in the Crock-Pot in my really shred and fall apart but you might be able to do like a beef barbecue sandwich on rolls. But the beef is really soft just wanted to let you know if it's anything like the beef I got

Very good haul. Now that your son is virtually learning is it a challenge to budget? I know boys can eat. I'm always helping my niece with her sons.
Hi! Yes, it is definitely a challenge. My son loves to eat and these pantry visits help us so much. We also have the option to pick up a breakfast/lunch bag every morning, from his school, if need be. Thank you for watching!

Can you have someone you trust go to Ruby's for you. You can get so much from them. Also you can put your icecream cones in muffin tins and add cake mix and bake for a geat treat.

We have tried it. My family did not care for it but I think it just needs a bit of spices to give it flavor.

I'm not sure how to feel about the food pantry hauls, for youtubers, save this food for the ones who actually need it. If you get a youtube check, etc you probably can do without this food. Maybe I'm missing something.
Hi! I understand how you feel. I don't get a TH-cam check. Someone would need over 1,000 Subscribers and have their videos watched a total of 4,000 hours, and do so in a 12 month period, before becoming eligible to monetize their videos. That is definitely not my case and far from it. I make my videos because my family and I are low income and we struggle like many other family's. I was once at an extremely low point in my life, when I didn't know where to go or who to turn to, to get help to feed my family. I saw a video of a food pantry haul, and it helped me realize the resources out there for people in my situation. I was nervous and felt broken, but I made my first video to help others, in a similar situation, by showing them what is out there. It has become a community of others, like myself, who are not insecure to get help anymore. Something that others may think makes us look vulnerable, has become an outlet to communicate ways to get help, share recipes with our food bank items, and not be so broken to our struggles. Its a cheap easy meal that is a made frequently. If I don't have enough leftovers for another meal. I serve it over mashed potatoes. Or if you have heartier appetites.
