Sir Cliff's Christmas gravy: Serves: 6-8 Ingredients: 2 x large white onions, chopped Olive oil Mixed herbs 1 tbsp Maggi gravy granules - brown 1 tbsp sweet soy sauce 1 tbsp Teriyaki sauce 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce Oxo cubes - 1 of each (chicken, lamb, beef & vegetable) Red wine, optional Method: 1. Sweat the sliced onions in a little olive oil until nicely soft. 2. Add in some mixed herbs, and the remaining ingredients, with 800ml boiling water and simmer gently for 30 minutes to cook through and the flavours to infuse. 3. A dash of red wine always improves the recipe!
