Luv my KLR. Got a box like that, drilled xtra holes in the rack for more attachment points. I put the tool kit in the big box for convenience. I have 23,000 all hwy miles on my '22 Adventure model. Plenty of bike for me. My bike sports a Seat Concepts Commuter Low touring seat. Recently did a single day 551 mile ride, this seat made a difference. Thank u, good job with the vid!
I test drove a very low mile 2024 KLR 650 today. I was very disappointed with the power and lack of pull under acceleration. I wasn't expecting a power house but thought it should have much more pull. I have a 900 Vulcan and 1700 Voyager. They both pull much more and are much heavier. Guess it's not for me. Going to try a 650 LT Next. Good luck!
That truck looks good but you are going to need more than two screws to go the distance, especially if you get into some ruff terrain. Even if you have to drill some new holes I would get two more bolts in there. You could also just skip the mounting plate and bolt the box directly to the rack. That’s what I ended up doing on my DR 650.
Yeah it's on there alright for just around town riding. I agree though, I may actually shop around for a 2nd top case, I kinda want something bigger. Seems kinda small the more I look at it haha
I plan on getting the adventure model myself. However why hasnt kawasaki put their Brute force 750 engine in that bike and then it would be perfect!! Also update the suspension with that v twin engine and ita mine haha!!
find the other two holes, and drill them into the bottom of the box, add the other 2 bolts. (Looks like you're up the road from me, I'm southeast of Disney)
I've been thinking about buying a KLR but just haven't been able to talk myself into it yet. How is the Bike as far as Vibrations? I want to be able to enjoy the ride :-)
So on the highway, it's the "wildest ride in the wilderness!". I've been wearing padded cycling shorts under my pants lol. Swapping out the stock tires is recommended too. I think once I get better tires and a new seat, it'll help with the discomfort. But with padded shorts, it's a world of difference for long rides.
@@OurMagicalJourneyFL What seat will you get? I watched another reviewer of the gen 3 KRL650 in Australia who said the seat is one of his favourite things about the bike. He said it's squishy and super comfortable for long rides.
I’ve been debating on the klr or a triumph tiger 850-900 i really love the tiger but the looks and stuff of the klr is great as well with a price difference of half as munch. I’m just wanting cruse for long rides as I’ll be basically on the road 90% of the time
I think having that 6th gear and a more road style bike would be better. Then again I'm finding highway riding decent on the KLR. But I've never riden one of those, so can't really compare
I want to get one of these bad... Has been in my wish list for the last 4 or 5 years... I am in Fl as well... Thanks for sharing...
I was watching videos of them for a long time also! It's weird having it now lol
I traded 3 of my bikes for this bike. I'm excited to ride. I'm excited to camp with it. Ride or Die.
It's my daily driver now! So much fun to ride

How do you like the seat? I was looking into that brand
@OurMagicalJourneyFL much more comfortable seat than stock. 300+ mile days are very do-able. I actually own 3 KLR's and all sport this seat. thank u.
I love this bike... keep uploading vids sir!
Thanks, will do!

Yeah that's one of the reasons why there's so many on the used market. People assume there's a ton of power and speed.
Where did you get the rear top box with the pads?? When I get mine I want one so me and my better half can do some riding together too.
Theres a link to it in the video description!
Can you please let kawasaki know if they put their V-Twin 750 brute force engine in the 2025 model, ill buy 3 of them right now haha!

Yeah I'll stabilize it better once we start doing 2 up. And nice! Yeah we're about 30 minutes from Disney

@@OurMagicalJourneyFL My main concern is Vibration in the handlebars. Do your hands get tingly/numb?

Rode my 1987 klr650a just yesterday. (Bought new then) please take off your helmet next video narration! You sound very ‘from world afar’😂
Even bought a helmet mic and the audio is even worse haha. I'll figure it all out eventually I'm sure!
@ got mine for 37 !! years now. It no microphone. I just listen to the thumper. :-)
