- One of the best ways to improve your communication skills is practice being clear and concise. Especially today with many virtual meetings, people have a shorter attention span. That means you need to get to your point. This video by Lighthouse Communications introduces a helpful structure that you can use in your meetings and conversations to make your point crystal clear.

@@lhctraining Oh yes - too compelling not to : )
I am now entering the Grade 12 experience which is much harder than Grade 11 here in the Philippines. And this 3 minute video literally explained the concise and clear communication very well! And the problem I was having the reason I searched this up is I always get picked as the leader of a group by teachers and classmates. I had to step up and learn so that it won't be too pressuring for me due to lack of knowledge. But now this lesson gave me hope in improving my leadership and communication skills. Thank you so much, Lighthouse Communications! ❤️
That's awesome! Thanks for sharing! Best of luck this year in the 12th grade.
:-)
Glad I found this video. Anyhow I grew up with 3 perhaps 4 TV channels and believe communication was better by far than what we have in 2022. IMO people are more distracted than ever and technology well... 😂
True! Hopefully, if we can capture someone’s attention, we can pull them into a deeper conversation. Thanks for the comment, Erin.
Quick, helpful and a great tool. I love this!

Thanks Manish!
Thank you
Very welcome LT!
Anybody I talk to will complain that I make no sense/doesn't add up. This should do the trick! Thanks
It takes practice. Logical thinking and speaking logically are two different things. And who knows which one happens first?
You speak proper English 👌, i will use this structure
Yes, intentionally structured information and will virtually help anyone clearly communicate.
I tend to ramble in person sometimes, it’s a hard habit to break but I’m working on it
I get it: when we are with friends and family, it’s normal to talk through our thoughts and then eventually say our point. But when it really matters, it’s important to take a moment to silently think through our thoughts so when we speak we put our point first and foremost.
Great presentation
Glad you liked it
This is more: what, why, next steps (practical) to me but good video.
I agree. But doesn't have quite the same ring. Lol.
Good video
Thank you for your comment!
Which video of matt abrahams have you heard about this structure
It’s most recently featured in his book, “Think Fast, Talk Smart.” Great book! Highly recommended.
It also helps to get your message across if you're crazy hot...
I’ll take that compliment and reinforce that mastery of communication takes practice and hard work. I hope to build a world where everybody is not only confident to share their voice but also brave enough to listen to everybody’s voice.
The structure and all is great, but that doesn't eliminate the clutter and the convoluted spider web that comes out, trying to explain a subject.
I hear you. Simplifying complex ideas is hard. Sounds like you might need to build a presentation to explain your ideas in more depth. To help your audience focus, consider what’s relevant to them and your objective. This will help you determine the top priority talking points. These talking points will really shine with this structure. Does that help?
Why don’t you teach with many examples, contrasting less concise sentences with those more concise
Great idea, Kjaan. Look for this in future videos.

Thank you!
You’re welcome Christina!
