Osaka 🤤 the best Okonomiyaki & Yakisoba I had was at Ajinoya honten. Upon leaving i noticed that it’s listed in Michelin Guide. Queues are crazy at night but go for lunch (less crowded) if you’ve not tried it.

Amazing and I'm a big fan of anime & manga. The food looks great.But maybe i would need a guide to visit.I'm known to get lost. I once paid for a tour in turkey and I got lost & they left without us both my wife and me where in a panic then.
Someday I hope to get here! I have students that have stayed in our house from Osaka, and it would be great to meet them in their own hometown. As always in your videos, the food looks delicious! Osaka is #1 on my itinerary. I want to be there for at least a few days to really get a feel of the city. Tokyo is a given, but I really want to work my way up to the Hokkaido prefecture.
Please be mindful in putting the business names that you visit (or just pan their menu when you order) because I would want to try the fried stuff too when I am in Osaka.
The billiken is actually from America, they borrowed it from a university that had it as it's mascot. Also at the shrine, those are ropes for calling the gods to your prayer.
Cool list, Christine. I would say a visit to Abeno Harukas would be a cool thing to do. It's Japan's tallest skyscraper at 300m and gives a great view from their viewing deck. And thanks for letting me relive the kushikatsu we had together. I haven't had kushikatsu in over a year because of COVID. Hope to see you again!
