Let Luther walk & get the rock. Dude changed the trajectory of the program & put us on the map. Plus we want him to come back for games, help with recruiting, NIL. Make him feel good on his way out.
@savvyplaysgames I see your point. I guess if they don't give any out cause we lose sr day, then nobody should get one. If they are going to give them out though, & a guy like Mookie who transferred in fr year & played a full 4 years here, & graduated is on the team, doesn't it seem like he should get one? He could have transferred easily last year for a bag but didn't. Or Burden, who played 3 years & obviously is NFL bound. He really epitomizes MIZ FB. 25% of all cfb players transferred last year. It'll be rare moving forward to have a guy play 5 yrs at one spot. I get what you're saying, I'm just thinking there's some latitude in there. Don't you think?
@@savvyplaysgamesThat they weren't Luther Burden. They didn't impact the program at the same level. And if they don't understand that they are either arrogant jealous or dumb. It feels strange to be saying these things but Luther really broke the mould and put a program on his back like no one I've seen. Special type of kid. Dared to be different. Let him know how special he's been to us.
Great content John. This is a daily listen for me. As a season ticket holder for basketball, I think this team is much better. Hot take but just as good as the 22/23 team. Our bench is so solid with the freshmen and Grill/ Warrick. It’s been a lot of fun watching this team in person. Gates seems revitalized too. Very proud of them so far
@ I completely agree. I am cautiously optimistic as I know the competition has not been there. But valuable time for the freshman and guys like Warrick and Perkins to get acclimated to Gates style. Great points as always
@Rick-z4h Not bad at all. We lost on the road 1st game. UCONN lost at home. FYI MEM was RPI #1 heading into that game. This mizzou team is really good. They're going to make a run, just depends on the draw in the tourney, & no injuries this year...
Ellison is not a Michigan alumni. He attended University of Illinois for a short time, dropped out, went to U. of Chicago, and dropped out there. Heard his girl friend is a Michigan alumni.
We need a Salary cap at this level of sport now. The billionaires have made it clear this isn't amateur sports anymore so there's no sense in treating it as such. Every American pro sport has either a hard cap or luxury tax so NCAA do your job and get on it. 12 million dollars my god Michigan can't help itself they must look like a Bond villain at all times lmao.
Absolutely it already has. These games look more fixed than ever. NIL is a joke. All sports are rigged because of betting. The National Fixed League looks more and more horrible each week.
You know, everybody in the SEC except for Texas, Georgia, and MISSOURI lost to an unranked team. Some even lost two games to unranked teams. Some even lost to an unranked team at HOME. Just sayin'.
@LockedOnMizzou im glad you got to go I was there too you saw there was an earthquake registered on that last td by rocket? And I’m Hoping to making the trip to see y’all’s away atmosphere next year I’ve heard the city is nice. I crossed vandy off my list this year it’s a absolute dump lmao
Lol. Who is the next billionaire? You are cracking me up. I see what you are saying, but what a short memory we have, like a record 62 million dollar donation in February (with 12 million to go to the Tiger Scholarship Fund) and the 25 million dollar donation in November. They are out there, and they are donating. Maybe it was not total 171 million dallors we received in the 2016 year, but they are out there giving.
It is all about bragging rights. Most high level athletes are under payed. How many seats did LB3 sell. Mizzou has pissed off there biggest donors…..the two Walton family members who live in Columbia. Still lotsmof St Louis and KC money.

Agreed
What would that say to all the seniors that didn’t even get one for losing the senior game?

I hope you're right on hoops. I'm slightly hesitant after last season. Want to see a little more. These Cal and kU games should tell us a lot.

Appreciate you, Ross.
Luther deserves a rock!! He has "rocked" this university!💛🖤
Memphis beat #2 UConn today in OT. Makes that first game loss to Memphis not look as bad.
Put Memphis at #2 and Mizzou at 10
@@Aidanstenson I like the way you think. Mizzou is deep

If a guy plays 4 years, graduates, & grad transfers to KU, he gets a rock. They need to modify the rules.
I agree with Luther being recognized. Maybe they should add “Loyal Tiger Day” to the Senior Day.

OK, either way, he doesn't own Michigan.
Mookie too. If a guy plays a few year, & graduates here or goes to the NFL let him have a rock.

SCAR is at 14 so at 10-2 we'd be at 13. Its rivals week, there will be more upsets.
We would have made it...
NIL is going ruin college football.

Most of these teams will regret paying players these millions they never even seen play
Does seem like a bubble, doesn't it? But bubbles can inflate for a long time before they pop.
I got about 12 dollars to my name in this economy 😂
I love you
Think Luther will opt out of the bowl game? Maybe say you can walk and rock but we need you in the bowl game.
Hope he plays in the bowl. Lasting memories
I don’t think he’ll opt out
I think he’s been playing hurt most of the year
@ I do too. He’s taken some wicked shots. The lad has guts
Wish 1 of them was me or at least a millionaire!
Don’t worry papa Beamer will financially support Missouri athletics
Papa still has a losing record against Mizzou.
@@LockedOnMizzou that’s okay I like to live in the present
As do I! To modify Belichick, we're onto Arkansas. I had a blast at Williams-Brice, BTW.
