One of the most important aspects of becoming an experienced lifter is a heightened sense of body positioning. The ability to sense technique breakdown & make adjustments in real time is crucial for performance & minimizing risk of injury. This takes a lot of practice & I think her second rep here is a great example. You can see she sensed the positional collapse of the feet & knees on the ascent of her second rep & she readjusted to a more optimal alignment of the lower body to finish her lift. The eventual goal is to then get better and better at lift efficiency so that the technique breakdown becomes less and less severe over time - but the first step is to sense and feel for when it happens. . Shout out @__trufelek__ for allowing me to share her lift.

This actually contributes to her having to readjust herself on rep #2 - the ONLY time straps so are acceptable wirh a clean grip are PULLS (and possibly to improve the front rack mobility). Neither of which are indicated here...Aaron : did you show this to Chad? I'm pretty sure he'd agree with me😉💪🏼
@@OoO-rf2gt she’s still not in correct alignment on the 2nd rep. Too much arch in the low back. Pushing knees out too late. She’s going to eff her back up if she doesn’t reduce weight, and correct her posture first preferably with a second set of educated eyes then try again

I love how she instinctively knew her first rep was gonna fail. That doesn’t mean she’s not working hard enough, it means her experience as a lifter made her understand that her positioning was not optimal for a successful lift.
After watching this several times - her knees. Her knees is what gives out first in the the first lift. Second one she does readjust but you can see when the knees start to buckle inward she shoots em out. There by stabilizing her base. That is mind muscle connection.

This is regular gym wear. Women have been wearing tight clothing to the gym since the 70s. This is especially normal for powerlifters who gain from the tightness so 1. The clothes doesn’t catch on the bar and 2. The support from the clothes helps their joints and muscles.
The hip abduction was on point. Women’s Q angle at the hips makes them susceptible to valgus knee movement under load. This actually takes training in women strength athletes to achieve.

I came to watch an impressive workout rep and instead found bunch of creeps being "omg its a female and I can see it has a butt". Like, idk... Can't you actually see what she does instead of what she wears or looks like? It makes me sad.
If men can go around without a shirt and women are shamed for skintight clothing, it is not about clothes. We all have a body, it should not be so surprising, so why is the existence of it considered so damn provocative? There is no reason to think that women wear skin tight clothes for men to gaze at. These clothes are oftentimes very comfy and are not in your way at the gym. Of course a woman can even look good on those, and it still does not mean that she wants to be, or should be suppressed to a "lol hot butt", especially if she is actually doing something impressive.
It goes to show you you don’t have to buy a booty. You can make one piece of charcoal between there or come out of diamond that’s hard work that woman put in.👏🏼👏🏼
