I'm pleased that you discovered some of our lesser known treasures such as the lime avenue through the cemetery. I have walked through there at night, but not seen any ghosts. Buried somewhere in an unmarked grave is a young girl by the name of Martha Gosnold. Her father Bartholemew Gosnold went on to be one of the founding fathers of Jamestown in colonial America. He founded a vineyard which was named after her, Martha's Vineyard.
I love watching your videos. Your joie de vivre is infectious. Thank you for reminding me that "even with it's sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world". xx
OMG I just love the Chinese sense, was this person slim who is buried here hahah, oh look building made out of clams lol.. Bless you Lisa, Organ old piano hahah.. That is the difference with the UK you have many very old ruins, and lovely countryside walks, here in China as you know, until recently, that is, you didn't get any grass areas unless you went up to Mongolia, and peoples garden were all veggies being planted haha
It really is so good to know that your husband is well enough to take trips with you! I hope his health is improving. Good luck to both of you. Your stream of consciousness is thoroughly entertaining. I agree about not calling the people you love names. This world is harsh enough without hurtful names coming from inside your own team. Loved the little peak inside your brain when you said 'bus, both,so similar'. Your outfit is adorable by the way. Quite appropriate for a walk in the Abbey Gardens too. Very Agatha Christie country fashion, if you ask me, a non Brit ;-) Those books might be good if you want to learn some more English and old fashioned UK culture. Although old fashioned comes with some ....outdated... stereotypes as well. Considering you are Chinese, I have to warn you. I used to live with some African exchange students from Cameroun. One of them was a huge Christie fan, so he chose to ignore the bad stuff in some of the books. They are very well written and entertaining. I would begin with 'the poison letter'. Anyway. Lovely video. Take care
Good morning Lisa as others have comnented your husband found a gem in you! Your sweet innocence, positive take on life and appreciation for natures beauty is so refreshing. Watching your videos is more enjoyable to me than you can imagine. Dont ever change😊 Have a wonderful day!

Great video, i like the out and about Lisa videos. If you like old buildings and castles you and your husband should come up to Scotland we have lots of interesting places to look at.
It is good to see you out and about enjoying the sunshine and learning about the local history too! You are a natural for being in front of the camera Lisa, you look very comfortable being recorded. I hope to see more videos of you and your husband enjoying yourselves in the English countryside. Good Luck!
Except, The Lebanon didn't exist back then, nor did England either. Edmund was a king of East Anglia and an Anglo-Saxon. That meant his fairly recent ancestors came from the modern states of Germany and Denmark. St George likely came from Greece. Both were courageous men.
I am aware that Chinese history goes back many thousands of years, but British history is also the same. Visit Stonehenge, about 5,000 years old. There are many places like that around the UK. Autumn in the UK is probably my favourite time of year.
I was trying to workout wether it was east or west bound on the A14 but im guessing your coming from Cambridge? You should come see Peterborough Cathedral it beautiful and 4th oldest in the country tracing its routes back to the 6th century
@@GobbyLisa99 Interesting. I had a colleague at work whose family came from the Shandong province. Her family moved to the Dalian area after the great famine. She wouldn't mention the famine directly.
@@GobbyLisa99 Easily done, dear lady, also there's St Mary's church, right next to the Cathedral, where King Henry the Eight's sister, Mary is buried inside, and it's truly beautiful inside there..I live very close to Bury St Edmunds, and love our History, so hope you will continue with your exploring and come back soon..xx
@@margaretflounders8510 I went that Church yesterday and other church. Because I remember some church I saw it but I didn’t see in first day. I also sent two Churches pictures on Community.
Sir, you won the lottery with this young lady, what joy she brings to the world. Thanks for the vids.
Thank you . He won the lottery but I nagged him every day, and he lost all his hair😂

In the cemetery there is a tome of a lady who was struck by lightning while praying, I have often wondered what she said!
Lol, you think she said the wrong thing and got smote?
There is also the remains of a maid, who let her lover in the house to rob it, they were caught and both were sent to death!
